Rocco has shown himself to be a well-behaved and loving companion at home. Rocco hasn't had any accidents in the home, does well in his crate, and already knows the words "no," "sit," and "crate". He definitely shows a willingness to learn and grow. Rocco loves toys, and they keep his mind stimulated throughout the day.
Rocco is choosy with his canine friends and would do best as the only pet in your home, with a fenced yard big enough for him to run and play in. If you're ready for a loyal and energetic companion, Rocco might just be the match for you.

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
