Story
Beautiful Handsome Sweet Snoop Snoop is our handsome 2 year old foster pup with the CUTEST features.l with a permanent smile. He never meets a stranger. He loves dogs, kids, belly rubs, loves to give kisses and get kisses, and loves everyone he meets. He really is the very best pup. 🐾 He is potty trained and sleeps well in the kennel and in the bed - you never hear a peep out of him! He rarely barks even when he is outside playing in our fenced in yard. He also rides well in the car and LOVES the dog park. He is the absolute messiest drinker of water and he has no clue he is making a mess. He just looks at us with a smile.❤️ He also likes to walk me until he gets tired and then he does very well. 😂 We walk almost every morning in our neighborhood. He loves and looks forward to his walks. He also thinks everyone wants a kiss from him and I had to tell him that not everyone loves kisses.😢 So we are working on this. He also chases Magzy, our cat, squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks. Really anything that moves, but I really think he wants to just play. He has never caught anything and I am not sure what he would do if he did, but he would be best in a home with no cats. Snoop is a great adventure buddy, but also a great snuggler, loves to sleep under the covers, and deserves the best life! He loves to play ball and bring it back, but only for a snack and in the house. For some reason, he won't fetch it outside. We have been working on this. He will make his forever family so happy and be their best friend, but it’s going to have to be the perfect fit for me to let him go. I would love to keep him, but I am not able to. I love you so much sweet Snoop. The perfect home would be an individual or family that is active and loves to walk, run, hike with their pup and spend time with them. I won't accept anything less. If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Snoop is a handsome 1 year old pup with the CUTEST features. He will be 2 on May 27th. He loves dogs, kids, belly rubs, loves to give kisses and get kisses, and everyone he meets. His foster describes him as the “very best dog” and wishes she had room to keep him🐾 He is potty trained and sleeps well in the kennel - you never hear a peep out of him! He rarely barks even when he is outside playing in our fenced in yard. He does chew when he is bored, but his foster family is working with him on this. He also rides well in the car and LOVES the dog park. He is the absolute messiest drinker of water and he has no clue he is making a mess. He also likes to walk his foster. 😂 We have been working on this. This boy is a great adventure buddy, but also a great snuggler, loves to sleep under the covers, and deserves the best life! He loves to play ball and bring it back, but only for a snack. 😂 He will make his forever family so happy and be their best friend, but it’s going to have to be the perfect fit since he came back to us at no fault of his own. His previous family just didn’t have time for him. He was wonderful with their kids. They are also willing to talk to a potential adopter. Snoop still goes to visit his former family because their son misses him so much. They want so much for him to find a wonderful forever home 💙 Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
Meet Sue Sue is an all white pocket pittie. (Petfinder does not have that an an option. These are also sometimes called micro bullies) She weighs only about 30lbs and is full grown. She is around four years old, super sweet and cuddly, and is blind. She has had both eyes surgically removed, but that does not stop her from living a full, and fun-loving, life. Sue is WONDERFUL and gets around just fine once she learns the lay of the land. Sue is currently in foster care and is the perfect little houseguest. She takes some time to figure out the perimeter of her spaces, but once she does, as long as you make sure she doesn't bump into anything while she settles in, she is a really happy go lucky dog. Sue did well with the two dogs she met, she didn't play, but was happy to be in their presence. I don't think that a very playful dog would work, but a mellow one would be just fine. For info on Sue please email heather@obhounds.com or to apply go to HandsomeDan'sRescue.org. Thank you for choosing rescue!
