Story
This is Darby, She is as much a part of our family as our children. We found her after she had been hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken, she was emaciated, and she had just had puppies. We looked for days for them and never found them. She is the most loving, calm, wonderful soul. She is almost a truly perfect dog. I am forced to rehome her because she is extreemly protective of us and went into our neighbors yard and bit thier 7 year old lab. They have involved the police and we are being forced to either euthanize her or find her a new home. I cant even explain how painful this is, she is bonded to me like a child as I spent a lot of time with her durring her healing. We are guessing she is about 3 to 5 years old. She has escape artist tendencies so a solid fence is a must. She also has had sever trauma on a leash at some point as she is petrified them along with car rides. She prefers women, but has never shown aggression with a man either. There's so much more but I'm out of words

Story
ADOPTION and HEARTWORM TREATMENT SPONSORED ❤️‍🔥 This handsome blockhead is Dozer. We took him on the trail and he did fantastically well walking on the leash with no reaction to bikers, walkers, runners, or dogs. Dozer is around 2 yrs old and a happy dude with energetic excitement. He gets excited easily and can be "mouthy" when first getting out of the kennel, but he does calm down very well after a few minutes outside and some exercise. He would benefit from daily exercise and stimulation, and an experienced owner who can work on some basic training and manners. Due to his strength, weight and excitability it would be best if Dozer went to a home with no small children just to prevent accidental knock downs. Same with dogs, while he is very friendly, some dogs may not want a raptor in their face until he learns to tone it down. Dozer's wellness exam checked out great besides pesky heartworms. He will require treatment for his heart worms which is a pretty simple fix. Treatment cost has been sponsored at the veterinarian of the adopter/rescue's choice. We will coordinate payment directly to the vet's office. His adoption is also sponsored to the right adopter/rescue, and includes: DAPP and rabies vaccine, heartworm test (positive), fecal and dewormer, wellness exam, and A NEUTER!! This buddy is a gem in the making! Come meet Dozer at Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center 1609 Henry St, Guntersville 256-582-3184 No appt necessary. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 Sat 7:30-12

Story
This handsome boy is Benson. He is at least middle aged and well mannered, loves all people and seems to be doing very well with other dogs as well (see video in post). He is around 52 lbs, but could use to put a few more pounds on. Benson is a fun guy who can be really goofy and looking for his person, so if you're interested, please come and visit him! His adoption includes: DAPP and rabies vaccine, heartworm test (he is NEGATIVE!), fecal and dewormer, wellness exam, and a neuter. A VERY good deal when you add up the cost of all of that, especially when you add unconditional love to it! Come meet Benson at Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center 1609 Henry St, Guntersville 256-582-3184 No appt necessary. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 Sat 7:30-12

Story
Hey there, my name is Copper and I am a handsome 1.5-year-old male Pit Bull. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I still have plenty of energy and love to give! My foster parents say I have the perfect mix of chill and playful - I love going on walks and playing with my 4 legged siblings, but I also enjoy just lounging around and soaking up some sun. I am an affectionate and easygoing boy, and I am always up for cuddles and will gladly be your lap dog. I am also a social butterfly and get along well with other dogs and even cats! My ideal day would be going to the river and splashing around, followed by some treats and playtime with my humans. I am good with seniors and kids, making me the perfect companion for any family. I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of sloppy kisses.
