Story
Lola was found on the side of the road. All we know is that she is micro-chipped, spayed, was adopted from a rescue , and is vaccinated to an extent. When we contacted the owner of the dog he stated he did not want her, we believe he may have dropped her off. She is very sweet, playful, chill, and active. She appears to be young, anywhere from 1-3 years old. She seems to be okay with kids and other dogs as far as we have seen. We are looking for a good promising home.

Story
A cuddler and social butterfly! This big boy is a big love. He is a happy boy, low maintenance, enjoys hiking, walking , car rides, massages and ice-cream cones.  He will follow you around, lay by you, walk nicely on leash and crash on a bed or couch (a little snoring may be included).  George came to us from a county shelter. They said he was aggressive with other dogs. We never saw that, and he has been very friendly with a large male dog, but as a precaution, we would recommend he be the one and only canine family member.   He likes the outdoors but wants to be with you so he is looking for an indoor home where he can provide and have companionship.  He has lived with other dogs, did well with mindful, considerate older kids. George does not like cats. He is our trainers favorite and comes with continued free training. March 22, 2025, 3:16 pm

Story
Sarge is a young boy who loves to play and needs someone willing to keep up with all the progress this sweet guy has made in his training program. He was adored by his foster caretaker where he would lay quietly by her feet and snoozed while she worked on the PC and provided great companionship for her. She sadly could not keep him due to a move and he has been living a ranch style life since. Sarge is a people lover, he wants nothing more than to please you but he wants to be someone's only dog. With people, the more the merrier but with other dogs, two is a crowd. He has a big heart and a ton of love to give.  Sarge would love to find his forever home before the new year and start his new life in the new year! Sarge is waiting, just waiting for that special someone out there to say I pick you!  Sarge is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. His adoption fee is $50 and to start off his new home life, if adopted before Jan 1st. He comes with 3 months supply of food, collar, leash, harness and training support.March 22, 2025, 3:16 pm

Story
Maximus, or Max, had a person and home of his own, but all that changed when his person got diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and she sadly passed away. Some of the womans friends knew her prognoses was poor and advocated for Max to try and find him a home. Sadly, she passed away before one was found and he was sent to a high kill shelter. Max was very much loved and enjoyed all the comforts of home which he happily shared with another dog (a black lab). He had also been around other dogs including small dogs (poodle). In his current temporary home, he has also been around a small dog (Doxi). He has reportedly been friendly around children, however, he does have a prior bite incident. It's possible could have been related to his loss since his whole world turned upside down, or due to a prior illness. but even though he has done well with both, we would like to place him in a home where there are no small dogs or children. He is a powerful boy so needs a savvy handler. He reportedly did well at the shelter being handled by staff and techs even under duress and he did well during his vet visit.  His caretaker says he is a sucker for scratches and walks with such a swagger. He is housetrained, well behaved, crate trained and rides well in a car.  Max is vaccinated, vet checked, neutered, microchipped and is ready to start a new beginning with a loving person and safe home to help heal his heart.   March 22, 2025, 3:16 pm

Story
Major is a 70lb beautiful pitbull...he was cared for by a man who found Major in his neighborhood and nobody claimed him. That gentleman was unable to continue to care for him because of his own health, so we've been taking care of him for a while. He's about 4 now, is well behaved and as he grew up a lone-pup, he loves being the center of attention - he's playful, will always bring you a toy when you get home and likes to go on walks. We are looking to rehome him because of conflict with another dog, a medical foster that still needs our care. He gets along with our third dog, so he can be with other dogs. We have not had him around cats or children. We think an experienced adopter or home where he'd be the only dog would be best.

Story
Max is a sweet and loving dog who needs a home with people who have time for him. I took him in from a friend who couldn’t keep him so he wouldn’t go to a shelter, but I work a lot and do not have the time and money to care for him. He is quiet and gentle with all animals and people, very laid back and super affectionate. I love him to bits and wish I could keep him for myself. He will make the perfect best friend for someone, and he is not super high maintenance either. He is a very good dog, smart and eager to please.

Story
Meet Ember, a lively and affectionate 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a big heart and boundless energy. While she prefers to be the only pet in the home, Ember adores kids and thrives on human companionship. Her shelter friends can’t get enough of her judgmental glare when you're not snuggling next to her. She is fully house trained, is not destructive in the home, and prefers to just sleep away the day. If you would like to learn more about Ember, please reach out to our adoptions team.
