Story
Paco is a neutered male black and white Staffi/Lab mix. He is 18 months old and weighs 60 lbs. so he will be a big boy when fully grown. He has been raised in Mexico by a lovely family and all vaccines are up to date and he is housetrained. Paco has lots of energy! He would love a yard to run in and a friend to play with. He is good with other dogs although he is overly anxious during initial introductions. He currently lives with several other dogs. He has not been around cats. Paco is as sweet as can be and loves kids. He just wants to find his own person or family to love. Because he’s young, obedience training would help him be the best dog he can be. To meet Paco, contact Dana by email or text: dkmikel@gmail.com or text 760.519.5532.

How this pet arrived: Addie was brought in by her previous owner on January 20, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Addie, a charming pup with a face so enchanting it's guaranteed to melt your heart! While Addie might be a bit shy at first, she quickly warms up to her caregivers, enjoying gentle petting and sharing sweet kisses. She dreams of a home where she'll receive lots of love and attention from people who are around often.Addie loves to indulge in treats during her walks and occasionally enjoys a delicious pup cup. She rides like a pro in the car, knows how to sit and shake, and doesn't pull on the leash. Around the park, she's in her element, happily sniffing out all the interesting scents and enjoys dog-watching. When our volunteers brought her on Canine Adventures, they reported that Addie was a model walker and showed no dog reactivity. She would thrive best in a home with children over 6 who can understand and respect her body language. Addie has a mixed history with other dogs, so if you have a furry friend at home, bring them along for a meet-and-greet to ensure they're a good match.Addie is eager to capture your heart and be your new best friend. Don't miss the chance to meet this delightful beauty queen-come and adopt Addie today! Primary Color: Black Weight: 60.2 Age: 3yrs 5mths 1wks

Story
Maya is a very sweet Pit mix that loves to cuddle with her humans. She will find a way to be near you, snuggle you or just rest her head upon you. She has a soft snore and gets the zoomies with an e-brake vibe that is hilarious! Maya is a little over 1 years old and weighs in at 56 lbs. She is playful, but would do best in a home with a male dog or no other dog. Maya loves her chew toys and will confiscate a shoe if it is left behind. She does not need to be crated while you are gone, but will reluctantly go in one if need be. Maya is house trained, non-destructive, learning her leash manners and easily trainable with a beeper. Maya's adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip, and current vaccinations. Story
How this pet arrived: Holly was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on November 29, 2023. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Holly, a delightful pup who is looking for her new home! This sweet girl's friendly demeanor and contagious tail wags stole our hearts from the start. Holly has a LOT of energy and sometimes that can come out through jumps and overexcitement. Thankfully, this smartypants responds well to guidance and support! Food puzzles, kong toys, and other activities to keep her mind activated as well as her body are a great place to start! She is also crate trained, house trained and has some pretty great house manners according to her previous foster! Due to her excitable nature, she would do best in a home without other pets and with children over the age of 8. Make sure to bring the whole family along to meet Holly - she is ready to fill your home with tail wags and happiness. Come meet this charming pup! Don't forget to bring a leash and collar! Excitable Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 59 Age: 3yrs 8mths 3wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Tinker was brought in by a community member on November 28, 2023. Why this pet is the one for you:Allow us to introduce you to Tinker! This sweetheart of a pup is ready to fill your life with all of the wags and walks and wonderful memories you could ask for. Tinker is wonderful on leash and would love to be your walking buddy, preferably in quieter areas where there aren't too many other dogs, as this will help her stay more relaxed. She also loves playing fetch and romping around the yard, but don't worry - this darling doggy also has a very mellow side, and loves her rest and relaxation. She also appears to be house trained and knows a couple of tricks, like "sit" and "shake." While Tinker enjoys the company of others, gradual introductions and a gentle approach will go a long way with her and allow her build confidence and form strong bonds. Once she gets to know you, she loves to be pet and will even do a little happy dance when you give her back scratches! Tinker has some manageable medical needs that we will be happy to discuss with you so that you can help her be her healthiest, happiest self! So what do you say? Are you ready to fill that Tinker-size hole in your heart? Visit our Oceanside Campus to say hello to Tinker today! Don't forget to bring a leash and collar!
