Story
Lucy is a great dog with young energy. She is 100% American pitbull terrier(DNA tested). She is we rescued her from Passion for putties and she is believed to be about a year and a half. She has been to Snug pet resort boot camp and is fully trained. She has never gone to the bathroom in the house or chewed anything when left alone. She prefers the couch to sleep at night and is not a fan of the crate. Lucy is all love and just wants pets and attention. She would be a great addition to a loving family with little work needed(training) I am having a really hard time with having to let her go and really want her to go to a loving family like she’s used to here. Lucy has no medical issues or allergies. I feed her high end dry food

Story
How this pet arrived: Mufasa was brought in by a community member on December 10, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Mufasa, a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a patient and loving home. He can be a bit shy with new faces and places, but with time (and tasty treats of course) he blossoms into a bubbly companion! Once you bond, he may even get a little too excited at times, but responds well to positive reinforcement training! Mufasa has done well on social walks with other dogs in the shelter and may enjoy having a calm canine friend. Mufasa is crate trained and thrives in a structured home but isn't suited for busy environments like farmers markets, due to his shy nature. He would thrive best in a small household without young children (under 8) who will respect his space and allow him to adjust at his own pace. If you're ready to give this sweet pup the loving home he deserves, you're sure to gain a loyal companion! Come on down to meet him today, and make sure to bring the whole household! Story
How this pet arrived: Sadie was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on October 26, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Sadie, a lovable girl who's ready to bring a whole lot of joy and snuggles into your life! Sadie may be a bit slower these days, but she's still full of love, always ready to cuddle up on the couch and enjoy some good scratches while watching TV. Her easy-going nature makes her the perfect companion for someone who wants a laid-back dog with a sweet disposition. Sadie is perfectly happy in a smaller space, like a cozy apartment, and enjoys a couple of short walks each day at a leisurely pace. She's a dream on the leash and doesn't need a lot of activity to keep her content. She has enjoyed spending time around children but is looking for a home without other dogs. While she may be slow-moving most of the time, don't be fooled - she still has bursts of puppy joy, like when she gets the zoomies and shows off her playful side! She rarely barks, but she will give you a soft "woof" at the door when it's time to go outside. Sadie is potty-trained, well-mannered, and has a heart full of affection to offer. She'd be a wonderful fit for anyone seeking a calm, loving companion who can bring warmth and happiness to your home. While she does have some medical needs, including dental disease, arthritis, and a few suspected benign masses, she's still got so much to give. Sadie can't wait to find a family who will love her as much as she'll love them. If you're looking for a loyal friend to brighten your days, Sadie's your girl! Fill out the interest form above! Story
How this pet arrived: Manolo was brought in by his previous owner on December 29, 2024 Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Manolo, the energetic ball enthusiast with a zest for life and a talent for keeping you on your toes! This sweet boy lives for playtime - whether it's fetch, chase or simply showing off his pro-level ball-handling skills. He's a lovable goofball with a heart as big as his energy levels. Manolo's hobbies include taking you on scenic tours during walks (he's a firm believer in cardio) and perfecting his "how high can I jump?" game when he's excited. But don't worry - turning your back and rewarding him with attention when he's calm is all part of the Manolo Management Plan. At home, Manolo can sometimes turn into a creative redecorator if left alone for too long, so he'd thrive in a household where he has company or plenty of mental stimulation. Manolo is looking for a family without young children (under 5) who will understand his quirks and continue his positive-reinforcement training. Manolo has displayed dog reactivity on leash, and has also shown social behaviors towards dogs, so we recommend bringing your pup along for a meet and greet. If you're ready for a lovable companion with a heart full of potential, Manolo is waiting to be your MVP (Most Valuable Pup)!Dog Reactive Dog and Excitable Dog:  Manolo requires two virtual behavior consults, please click HERE and HERE to learn more about him. Story
This is Auggie, an English Bulldog. We "rescued" him from a young military family when he was 9 months during Covid. We think he is about 5 years old. Auggie loves swimming! LOVES SWIMMING! He is not a barker and not destructive of household items. He does love toys, playing tug of war and snuggling. He is house trained and utilizes a doggy door to go in and out of the backyard. He was not protective of his food with our other dog who was much bigger but not sure how he would be with others. He likes riding in cars and going on trips. He is good on a leash but if he wants to move he will start biting the leash and pulling on it. Auggies is protective within his house. No major medical conditions or costs outside a typical bulldog. Looking for a home that can spend a lot of time with him. Preferably one with no children and small pets. May do well with a larger dog. Would be best with someone who has owned a English bulldog before. We love him but our home is not suited for him
