Pantera is a beautiful 3 to 4-year-old pitbull terrier mix that was rescued from the Stockton Shelter after being there for over three months. Pantera had a litter of eight puppies in the shelter and all of them had been adopted but sadly she was left there all by herself waiting and waiting to be saved, but that never happened and she was scheduled to be euthanized. However, Pantera has a zest for life that was obvious to everybody, and that hasn't changed! After leaving the shelter, she became a favorite of everyone that has met her. She is very people friendly, she is very dog friendly, she will be a very loyal companion. This girl loves toys, loves the ball, but she is also content to sit and chill by your side on the couch. She's a perfect temperament and past the crazy puppy stage but still likes to have fun and will be a great match for a variety of homes. After all she's been through being used over and over for breeding we can't wait to find her the best forever home.

Magnolia is a sweet, happy and lovable girl. When we picked her up from the boarders, she showed her true colors instantly, showing us love and her sweet nature immediately. She couldn’t wait to jump in our car and go home with us! She loves to play, either with toys or her human friends , and is as mentioned before, always up for a car ride. She just wants to be with her friends and family, and is constantly showing her appreciation for being part of a family. While she is ready for action, she also is ready to lay next to her human friends and show her very calm side as well. Magnolia is quick to learn sit and here commands, and while she does pull a bit on walks, she is learning through training and redirection to walk with a slack leash, and is improving at a rapid pace. She is crate trained as well, and after a bit of restlessness, settles down quickly when she needs to be crated. Magnolia is also ready to play , and is great with her human friends. She doesn’t like cats very much, but would be great with a family who is ready for her loving licks and excitement to be part of the group. She is truly a lovable chunk of sweetness, who needs someone who loves a dog who loves them back as much or more! Miss Maple is a beautiful 2 year old pittie mix who was found in a field the beginning of October. The shelter suspected she had recently had puppies but didn't find any. Maple got her freedom ride to her foster home 2 and a half months later. Maple is a shy girl who is unsure who and what to trust. Once she starts opening up she is all about the booty and chin scratches. She is so sweet and quiet. She is cat neutral and seems to be ok with dogs. She loves running and trotting around and sniffing everything. She is crate and potty trained. Though she would rather be out of her crate and in the general area of her people. She won't lay on the ground unless there is a bed or blanket. She only gets on the furniture if called up. She seems playful toward the goats and alpaca. She respects other animals boundaries. Once she is comfortable she takes treats gently. We haven't noticed any resource guarding with food. She likes bones and chew toys and has shown no resource guarding. This is Sophie, she was rescued a year ago from a high kill shelter. She is a very mellow, mild mannered girl. She mostly enjoys sleeping the days away. Enjoys greeting company but wary of strangers and other dogs on walks. She gets along with the other dog in the home but doesnt play or interact. Sophie much more enjoys human contact and affection. No special needs but she was injured prior to rescue leading to part of her hip being removed. However, she gets along wonderfully and often enjoys jogs up and over the hills. Deadline to keep her out of a shelter or rescue is June. Praying someone sees her face and sees the face of their new companion. It pains me to feel she is being failed after Barely escaping a brutal encounter before we took her in. With our schedules making it difficult to tend to him we come to the decision to put him up for adoption rather than putting him down. We really hope he gets a home where he can be loved and properly taken care of. My kids are teens, and he does really good around them. I have had him around younger kids, but we will end up putting him in the house or outside because he likes to jump on people and the kids and parents will get scared.
