Story
Do you see this sweet face? How can you resist her? Brownie is looking for her forever home! She’s approximately 7-year-old Staffordshire mix and was originally rescued with her seven puppies. She was an incredible mama to her litter, who have all been adopted. She is a mellow girl, so appreciative of snuggles, and just happy to be near those who reciprocate her love. Brownie is house trained and learns quickly. She LOVES walks. Brownie loves to be near her humans, cuddling with them any chance she can. Brownie’s been through enough and has always cared for others—she’s ready to be spoiled and have a family all to herself. However, if you’re interested in adopting her and you have other pets, she would do best living with calm dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please reach out! She’s ready for you! Fenced in yard is a must. Must be experienced with the breed. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/brownie

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Rocky. Approximately 6 years old, Pit mix breed. He is loyal and loves attention from people. He is housebroken, obedient, and loves to run/walk outside and chase lizards. He needs leash walk training as he can pull. He prefers to be indoors most of the time. He is a great guard dog. He’s neutered and UTD on all shots. Prefers to be the only pet.  Not great with other dogs big and small (was never around cats), no small children. Rocky has a high prey drive. He can be good with another dog as long as he is introduced properly. He is not good with small children as they make him nervous. He did tolerate a little toddler sister that he loved because he grew up with her and was always supervised. Rocky needs a foster or better yet, a new forever home. Thank you for taking the time to read this! No medical conditions except for a seasonal ear allergy on occasion. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Huk's story is truly remarkable. He found himself in an overcrowded shelter and was unfortunately placed on a euthanasia list. However, just in the nick of time, Huk was saved and given a second chance at life. It's thanks to caring individuals like you that Huk now has the opportunity to find a loving forever family. Huk is an incredible dog with a big heart and a gentle nature. He has mastered the art of sitting and is currently working on his stay and wait commands. Huk's leash manners have been improving, making walks a pleasant experience. He also knows how to lay down and is beginning to understand the concept of stay. Despite being a couch potato and generally mellow, Huk enjoys going for runs and being active. While he is content on his own, it's important for Huk to have a meet and greet with any other furry friends in the household to ensure compatibility. He is eager to find a perfect companion to share his toys and adventures with! Huk has been to places like Lowes and pet stores and has interacted well with other dogs he has encountered. However, he may show some food aggression, so it's recommended to separate him during meal times. He's making a lot of progress. He's coming around really well. We learned he's NOT really cat aggressive, it was more him being anxious and reactive around cats. We slowly integrated him with indoor/outdoor cats. We believe he could potentially live with cats with a proper introduction. If you're searching for a loyal, loving, and gentle giant to be your new best friend, Huk is the perfect match! Let's help Huk find his forever family. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-application Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Mr. Wrigley's story is one of resilience and unwavering spirit. He didn't choose the circumstances he found himself in. He was merely a possession in a home where love and compassion were lacking. For eight long years, he lived with a family who saw him as an object, not a cherished companion. But when his family decided they no longer wanted him, Mr. Wrigley faced a fate no living creature deserves. They asked for him to be euthanized, but thankfully, no veterinarian would fulfill such a heartless request. Despite the neglect and mistreatment he has endured, Mr. Wrigley's spirit remains unbroken. He is a gentle soul, full of love and affection. He adores people and craves companionship. His friendly demeanor lights up the room, and his chill attitude is infectious. Wrigley gets along famously with dogs his size or smaller, but his past experiences have left him nervous around larger dogs. Yet, he's learning to overcome his fears, showing incredible resilience and determination every step of the way. However, there are some boundaries we must respect for Mr. Wrigley's well-being. He is not suited for a home with cats or small children. His last encounter with young children under the age of four was traumatic, as they pulled on his tail and tried to ride him. It's clear that Mr. Wrigley needs a nurturing environment where he can feel safe and loved, free from the fear of mistreatment. Mr. Wrigley has a sweet and gentle nature. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new places. He is looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cherished as a true member of the family. With the right environment and understanding, Mr. Wrigley is sure to thrive and bring joy to his new family. House and crate trained. Need a foster or adopter but need to secure one before receiving into the rescue.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources We have joined forces with Hopeful Paws of Florida to find a home for Diego. This big silly goofball was pulled from West Palm Beach shelter just in time before being euthanized! Now he’s looking for his forever home. Currently he’s in boarding. We urgently need a long-term foster or even better an adopter. Diego can be very strong on the leash at times and will need some leash training. He loves to cuddle and has a sweet personality, and he is crate trained. He still is a puppy and has puppy tendencies so he will need a firm owner. With consistency and a schedule, he is going to make an awesome family dog. He is good with kids, but due to his puppy like behavior and can be mouthy, older kids only. No cats. As Diego will be going through heartworm treatment shortly, it is preferable that he be the only dog in a home and a quiet one when he starts his treatment. We are hoping to find a foster in either the Fort Myers or Naples area or Pinellas County. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
