Story
You might remember Jason; the resilient one-year-old pup with a remarkable story! His journey began when he ended up in the ER clinic, found as a stray, with a severe facial laceration that required reconstructive surgery, but his rocky start to life hasn't dimmed his wild spirit. Jason's a bit of a daredevil, transforming furniture into an obstacle course and waging a full-on war against any toy that crosses his path. He's a social butterfly with dogs and people, craving constant company and despising solitude. However, when it comes to cats, he sees them as toys and treats them just like his playthings. Jason craves interaction with older kids who can join in on the toy destruction without interfering too much with his collection. He finds solace in his crate, where he relaxes while indulging in his favorite pastime of toy annihilation. Long walks are Jason's jam-they help him unwind and find his inner peace. Staff members have been working on his leash skills, and helping him with basic obedience training. He is getting better and better everyday! With his exuberant energy and love for companionship, Jason is an adventurous canine companion ready to tackle life's obstacles and toy boxes with his new human(s)! Jason is fixed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. If you are interested in meeting this special boy, please fill out an application!

Story
Meet Hashbrown. He is a special little guy who falls in love with everyone he meets. He's small at only around 30 lbs and has the face of a puppy. He's literally a forever puppy! Hashbrown came to the rescue as a small pup born with spinal malformations (think scoliosis in people). After consulting with specialists and lots of physical therapy, sadly, it was determined that he would never be able to walk like a normal dog. But that's ok! He is super fast with only use of his front two legs and has a pretty rad wheelchair, that will stay with him when he is adopted. He is super fast, and he doesn't know he is any different than any other dog. Hashbrown can go to the bathroom on his own, but his foster mom expresses his bladder every day to help with controlling when he goes. This may sounds super scary, but its SO EASY and we can show you how! It only takes. a minute or two. If not, he can live without being expressed and wears belly bands to keep him clean! Now all his care stuff is out of the way, let's talk about how amazing and wonderful he is. Hashbrown is super loyal. Animals are so resilient and Hashbrown is no different. He runs in the backyard and loves going for walks. He sleeps on a dog bed next to his foster's bed at night and sleeps all through the night. He loves snacks and treats, and his foster mom feeds him snacks in food puzzles that he always figures out. He's so smart. He gained a following on social media with his cute bunny hop videos of him as a baby in a wheelchair. This even landed him in the WeRateDogs segment on Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rockin Even in 2023! Basically you could adopt your own mini celebrity, lol. Special needs animals aren't really any different than other animals, and Hashbrown would love to find a forever home of his own. He would really make a great travel buddy and a new best friend! Story
This big handsome boy is Chief, and he's looking for his new best friend! Meet Chief! He came to our shelter after he was found as a stray. He was microchipped, however his owners said they could no longer care for him. Chief is a 2 year old mixed breed boy that weighs around 80lbs! He may be big, but he's just a little mush! We suspect he could potentially have some sort of livestock breed in him based on his size and social mannerisms! Who really knows, he's just as handsome as they come! Chief is a really friendly guy who loves everyone he meets! He loves playing with other dogs, he is good with cats, and kids! Since he is large, older children would be best simply bc of his size, he forgets he such a big boy sometimes! Chief loves human affection and interaction. He enjoys lounging around on the couch, and going for walks! He is an adventurous pup that would love nothing more then to explore the world with his human by his side! Is that you?! Chief is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped! If you would like to meet this handsome hound, please fill out an application today!

Story
Polly Pocket is an all around great dog! She loves other animals, she's playful with other dogs and cautious but friendly with cats. She can be shy towards people she first meets but has come out of her shell quickly in her foster home! She loves kids once she's comfortable. She would do best in a home with another confident and playful dog to show her the ropes.
