Story
I’m Snow. I’m 7 years and 47 pounds. What a better way to start a post, with a dog named Snow for the first snowfall. I came in to the shelter running loose. My owner stated that he could not reclaim me. I was found running in the park, with another dog. My real name is Snow and I do know it very well. I get along with dogs, but I do not like to share my space with cats. I love to roll on my back for belly rubs. I would do best with older children. I do like to jump up and give hugs. I like to lay and play in the mud (hence my face). I am a big fan of dog treats, and I am doing great with potty training. Words from our volunteers: We love spending volunteer time with Snow. He always has a smile on his face when he goes for walks and has play time. He really eats up the attention. He loves to be with people. He so deserves a loving home.

Story
Hi, I’m Cinnamon. I’m 6 months old and 32 pounds. Just your typical sweet little girl. I was an owner surrender because my parents couldn’t take care of me anymore. I wasn’t raised with cats but I passed testing with the office cat. I was a little curious, and I am was playful with cats. The shelter would offer foster to adopt if you are interested and have cats. I love to play with kids and I’m walking good on a leash. I am doing well with potty training. I’m looking for a family that’s going to commit to me and be willing to put the effort in to me to watch me thrive. I love to be outside. I get along great with other dogs even in social settings. I’m a beautiful girl that girl that will be so happy to meet you!

Story
I’m Cash! I’m 1 year and 40 pounds. Not to be confused with our brindle female Cash. We both just have the same name! I came in to the shelter with my sister Mandy, when our owners called us in as strays. I’m a sweet little guy! I am a polite dog that will lay by your side on the floor. I just want to hang out with you. I love to lay on the couch, and relax. I have been with children volunteers at the shelter and want nothing more than to just be with humans. I love to play with rubber balls. I am doing great with potty training. I know sit and lay down. I’m a volunteer favorite! All dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped before going home. They are current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Story
Val has been doing well so far. She`s a snuggly sweet girl who loves to be around me and Finn. She also absolutely loves toys, and chewing. Her favorite toys are soft ones with a squeaker or that make a crinkly sound. She`s also a fan of antlers, but doesn`t show interest in the really hard bones. She is super curious and like most puppies, she does like chew things up. We`ve been working very hard on what things she can chew and what things she should not. I found she really likes to chew cords, which can be concerning. I`m addressing that as best I can and removing all the cords when I`m not around. Admittedly, that`s not a long-term solution for her potential new family, so if you have any tips, I`d appreciate it. She does tear up her toys, but not quickly. She`s quite the wiggle worm. She`s been enjoying our walks at Howard Park. She is very curious of the people and what`s going on around her. We will try a hike the woods soon and see if she enjoys hiking. She`s actually doing very well at potty training. She`s mastered my doggie door. I really think she`s gonna be fully potty trained shortly because she is really smart. She is good with routine, does not seem to have any significant separation anxiety. Loves all dogs we encounter. She is getting much more relaxed. Getting in and out of the car is still the one time she still gets really nervous, but she likes riding in the car.

Story
I’m Nolan! I’m the sweet new boy to the adoption floor. I have been a fun guy to play with here. I really love to wonder around the office and explore. I have passed dog and cat testing. I did really well with the office cat. The shelter is unsure if I was raised with or lived with cats prior to arriving to the shelter. I do like to eat fast and scarf my food, so I would benefit from a slow feeder bowl. I came in to the shelter emaciated so it is going to take some time for me to learn. I am as friendly as can be. I am working on my potty training skills. I know how to sit and listen well. I would love to find my forever home.

Story
I’m Jeremiah. I am 1 year and I weigh 30 pounds. I am an exceptional little guy. I’m cuddly, out-going and dog friendly! I did not pass cat testing so I’ll be adopted to a home without cats. I came in to the shelter as a stray. I love tennis balls and playing outside. I’m a happy out going boy that is eager to meet you, and eager to please. I am working on my potty training!
