Shadow is at Camp Bow Wow Westlake participating in their Doggie Daycare program! Shadow is a sweet, young female Pit mix weighing 45 lbs. Shadow is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down). She does need work walking on lead. Shadow loves to play with other dogs but we think a cat-less home is best. She seems very curious of a cat. Shadow is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Shadow loves everyone she meets and she would make a great forever friend! Meet Brooklyn!! Brooklyn is a 2 yr old Pit mix, weighing 56 lbs. Brooklyn was pulled from the overcrowded LCDK when they were full; she had been there too long. She was sent to Roger's K9 for their board and train program. Brooklyn is doing great learning all her commands and how to be comfortable in new situations. She does need to take things slow in new situations. Brooklyn is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on lead. She is very smart and athletic and would love an active owner that understands her breed requirements. Brooklyn has finished her training at Rogers K9 and is looking for a foster home while we search for her forever home. Brooklyn is dog friendly but we do not know about cats so a cat-less home is best. Mango is the absolute sweetest dog! She is 3-4 years old and a little under 40 pounds. She is high energy and loves to go on walks every day, but also loooves to snuggle up and be a couch potato at night. She can be a little clingy and loves to follow you wherever you go. She is crate trained, but doesn't like spending extended periods in there. She is housebroken. She will do great in a household with plenty of space to run around, or someone who is home often to spend time with her. Mango loves to go to the park, beach, and ride in the car! We absolutely adore her and are devastated to rehome her, but our cat has been aggressive towards her on more than one occasion. So unfortunately, we are trying to find her a more suitable home where she can live her best life with a loving owner or family! The adoption fee is in place to ensure adopters are financially capable of caring for Mango.

I adopted Honey from City Dogs on April 28, 2023. We went for a Meet and Greet for two dogs and I took my granddaughter with me because I knew that the dog would be around the them. Honey was so good with her that I chose to adopt her. However, I found out that I was pregnant and high risk two months post adoption and that changed the dynamics of how I could care for her. My daughter assisted with her while pregnant. However, her new bf is allergic and the baby is fearful and still requires a lot of my time and attention. Honey is approximately 2.5 years old, very energetic, and affectionate. She loves doing zoomies. Honey is house and crate trained. She is good with children and other dogs. She's been on three separate play dates with different pets and had no issues. Honey is not the dog if looking for protection. Honey is very timid and for some reason, is nervous when plastic rattles. We had to put plastic over a window and it made her anxious. She loves cuddles and ear rubs.

Gerald is a sweet and affectionate guy that likes to watch the room before he knows if he is comfortable! Within an hour of his new environment he shows his playful puppy side! He gets along with all personalities of cats! He is in a foster home with a 13 year old dog that he respects but took a bit to warm up to a new foster puppy that was a bit bigger than him.....within a couple hours of short introductions he was playing well with the new pup! He tends to be the bossier of a pack if he sees an opportunity! He is comfortable in a kennel and working on his housebreaking skills! He will chew on appropriate toys and is able to be left unattended in short increments while you are tending to other things in your home! During that time he can be found playing with his brother or they are cuddled up on the couch napping! He is a gentle boy with lots of love to give to his forever family!

Sammy is a 5 year old boxer mix. She is happy, energetic, and eager to please like most boxers. Sammy has had extensive training with a couple trainers and does well with commands. She knows to stay in her yard and one of her favorite things to do is go to Grandma's to run in the fields and woods. She loves people and will soak up all the attention you can give her. She plays well with other dogs in structured play but is unable to manage her resource guarding well enough to live with other dogs. Sammy has been with the same family since she was 12 weeks old so there is a lot of information to share about her. Sammy is looking for a new home due to the circumstances of her current family and how those do not provide Sammy with the home she deserves. As mentioned, Sammy does resource guard (food, toys, bed) with other dogs so would need to be the only dog in the home. While she loves kids she isn't very aware of how she can knock over a toddler or small children so please 5 years old and up. ##1815077##
