Story

Shades is a velvety little nugget of a girl—sweet, playful, and full of love once she trusts you. We rescued her from a local shelter where she was at risk due to an isolated incident involving a visitor entering her previous home unexpectedly. While in the shelter’s care, Shades never had any issues and spent a lot of time in the office, happily hanging out and loving all of the attention from staff. She’s now safe with one of our wonderful fosters and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Shades will thrive in a calm, adult-only environment, preferably with other pups, because they bring out the best in her. She does extremely well with cats, and is crate and house trained. Now that she’s settling into her foster home, we are able to really learn how she does in a home setting. Let’s get this girl the happy ending she deserves!

Kane is a very shy and sweet boy. He will need an adopter that is familiar with the breed and knows how to help him gain confidence. He is not a candidate for an adopter that hasn't had dogs in the past or any adopters with small children. He is crate and house trained for the most part. He does get nervous when you leave and sometimes has accidents in his crate. He is dog selective and would do best in a home with no other dogs. Kane is very smart and rings a bell on the door when he has to go outside to potty! He loves to nap on your lap and would make a great work from home buddy. He was abused when he was a little puppy and has an unusual bark. He's been through a lot and needs an adopter that will be patient while he adjusts to his new home. Kane is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, neutered , microchipped, dewormed and on flea/heartworm prevention. Kane’s adoption fee is $200. Harley is a sweet and gentle soul who is middle aged and has a love for leisure. She is distinguished, charmed and knows all of her manners. The time we`ve spent with Harley, we`ve learned a lot! She absolutely loves rawhides, is a freeze-baby in winter but enjoys wearing a hoodie, would buy every blanket possible to snuggle and nap on, she`s a window watcher and does great in the car! While Harley isn`t super cuddly, she enjoys being in your presence and handing out some kisses. Overall, she`s a lowkey lady who enjoys just hanging out in a warm home. Harley is looking to be the only dog in the home and would prefer an adult only, quiet atmosphere to live out the rest of her years in quiet style. Meet our sweet and spunky, Magenta! Magenta is little ball of sunshine and just loves to be adored. She has come a very long way since she arrived to us, learning basic commands, leash manners and much-much more. While other dogs initially worried her, she is now a great play partner to the male dogs we have! There is always a smile on this girl`s face, she is a great tug player and drops her toy very politely. While she does like to body slam you for love (just sometimes) she is as fun as they get and would be a great companion for a moderately active household. We believe Magenta would enjoy living with a male dog companion and is best suited for older children, if any.
