Allow us to introduce you to ROSCOE. He is a 2 year old owner surrender to our pound. His owner got into some legal trouble and could no longer care for ROSCOE. ROSCOE is a great dog. He is extremely athletic and loves to run and play. He can chase a ball for as long as you are willing to throw it. He will often bring it back to you, but when he does, it means he wants you to throw it again so he can take off running. ROSCOE is housebroken and neutered, and is extremely treat motivated to please. His rabies vaccine is current but his DHLPPC will need to be updated. This boy is active and would do best with an energetic family, but ROSCOE likes to cuddle up and snuggle too. He is good with kids and seems fine with the other dogs at the pound, but a meetngreet will be necessary. He will be protective of those he loves and will alert you to anyone coming around. Bugs got to go to our Lowes Store recently with our volunteers! She loved every minute of it! She is about 2yrs old and had a litter of Nine Puppies! She is not cat friendly but is Dog and Kid Friendly(Age 9 and up as she hasn't been around smaller children) She loves to go hiking and on walks! She would prefer a fenced in yard! Louie was adopted as a puppy and returned because when the other dog and Louie would play they would get carried away and bite each other. Come to find out when Louie was returned he had a terrible bacterial infection of his skin. It had raw, oozing lesions that were not treated properly. After many skin cultures and medication he is feeling much better and no more sores. This dog lives just to go bye bye! He listens well, is housebroke, crate trained and 100% cat friendly. He's a big goof at times, so toddlers would probably not be ideal, as that tail would be knocking them down. He shows no aggression with the other dogs. Rory got the chance to go to a Dog Trainer for a few weeks of in home training and this is what she has to say about her- She is estimated to be about 2 years old and an eclectic mix of breeds (see dna results in pics). She is both house and crate trained. She came into the rescue after someone found her giving birth under their porch. Her pups have all found homes and now it’s her turn. She is now spayed as well and up to date on vaccines and prevention. She is dog and cat social. She’s been with all my dogs, so from chihuahuas up to my Berner size and males and females. Her play style is on softer side and LOVES to do zoomies. She’s a pretty soft dog in general. She is a Velcro dog in that she just wants to be with her person. She’s been an excellent house guest and when I am in my office working she just lays quietly with me. She is super good even with little dogs and adjusts to their size so well. She has learned what a tv is, how the microwave works, and even the noises of toilets first made her turn her head like what the heck is that lol. She is affectionate and wants to please her person. This girl is move in ready!! Rory is about 48lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, current vaccinations, 4dx parasite screen, on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Sugar may be a special needs girl, however, the emphasis is on the word 'Special.' To know this girl is to love her! Despite her diabetes and blindness, she is a happy, extremely loving and lovable dog. She just wants to have a family or person to love and cherish her. It may take her a moment to warm up to some men, but it's all about smooches from there on out! Sugar loves car rides and rides quietly and well, she likes to be by someone and does well on a leash. She would prefer to be the only pet, though, and would need a home where someone is at home much of the time. This girl is well worth the time and effort!
