Story
Brindle Pitt looking for a new forever home. We rescued him a little over 2 years ago and never had a problem. (He did show aggression at the rescue place he was at towards other dogs, they believe he was used for fighting as he has a few scars on his legs but he was found on the side of the road) He did a meet and greet with our 2 little pups (chihuahuas) with no problem (his aggression was towards larger dogs) he has lived with them for almost 3 years with no problem. He just recently started showing small signs of aggression and we came home to my little pup dead. He had killed him. he just hasn’t been the same since. He shows absolutely no signs of aggression with kids or people at all only other animals. He would do great in a home where he is by himself.

Story
Got Lucy at 3 months old. Had her for 4 months. She came from a somewhat of a breeder. She is almost 7 months now. Still potty training, she’s doing well in that area. Teething. Learning commands. Training with a trainer. Beautiful, smart, very scared of people and dogs. Don’t know if the parents had any genetic issues. Not to be trusted with young children. Looking for a person with trading experience to re home.

Story
Hey there, my name is Kourtney! I am super cute, short and stout, a little house hippo if you will. But this house hippo is strong like an ox! Silly like a goose! And dreams of being as free as a bird. Kourtney is a delightful girl ready to find a forever family. When she`s not jumping in mud puddles or racing around the yards, she enjoys snuggling her favorite people and tackling new toys. Kourtney is as tenacious as a toddler (she doesn`t like to share). Share what you ask? Her people with other animals! Kourtney wants to be the only animal in her home and be spoiled like the princess she is. Kourtney loves to play and is very energetic. Kourtney is not comfortable with kids, but would do great with teens and up. Come meet Kourt today and let her steal your heart!**I am currently in foster! Please call the shelter if you are interested in me!**If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2022 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Story
Hello! My name is Skye! I am a beautiful girl looking for a forever home. I am spunky and sweet, and full of energy. I love going on walks and exploring the world, and I`m learning how to walk nicely at the shelter. My ideal home would be teens and up, no other animals, and someone who understands the importance of a really tasty treat. I like to play with toys and snuggle my favorite people. I like to watch TV and lounge on the couch, so pick out your favorite movie and then pick up your favorite dog....me!What the staff say about me:`Skye is one wiggly, piggly girl. She lights up when she sees her favorite person. She is so snuggly and very affectionate, she really makes you feel loved. She likes to show off her toys or play fetch. She is going to be someone`s best friend for sure!`If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Ahoy! It`s me, yer matey Pirate! I am a scallywag sort looking for a home to anchor myself to. Shiver me timbers, are you looking for a new member to your crew? Aye, I am a good lad, I`m sure I`d fit right in. We could sail the seven seas (or just walk around the neighborhood), steal booty (treats, duh) and search for hidden treasure (just kidding, I`ll be your treasure and you`ll be mine!) Batten down the hatches and raise the Jolly Roger! (Come meet me today!) ArghhhHere’s what the staff have to say about Pirate:“Pirate is a super cool dog. I always make sure to watch him in playgroup because it’s so exciting. He and the other dog like to play wrestle for a while and then jump around in the pool. We all have a blast! Outside of playgroup, I like to spend time training him. Pirate loves these training sessions, both for the attention he receives and the treats.`If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Hello, I`m Ozzie! I am a fantastic zoomer; I zoom through the grass yards, zoom around our halls, and zoom right into your heart. I am quite cute of course; who couldn`t love this happy face? I am silly, oh so goofy, always ready to make you laugh and cheer you up. Everyone has a bad day now and again, so I try hard to remind them that there`s always something to smile about...me! I`m a pretty positive guy. I like to look at the world as a treat box half full. Every day I wake up and grin; it`s a beautiful day, I have people who give nice pats and sweet kisses, and a bowl of food in my belly. I try to be pawsitive all the time, but I also dream of what it would be like to be chosen by a family. I have lots of energy and a great brain; the staff love teaching me new things; I know sit, I am crate trained, and I even sit and wait for my food! I don`t really like playing with other dogs, but I adore every moment with my favorite human. I am very smart and enjoy learning new things. I am crate trained and like savoring a tasty kong when relaxing by myself. Life can be up and down, have lots of sits and stays, but it is so much better when you go through it with someone. Come meet me today and let`s wake up tomorrow and take on the world together! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
