Meet Koko, our sweet 10-year-old "land seal" with a heart full of love! This senior dog was saved by our rescue from being euthanized at the shelter and is now relishing her golden years in a foster home in Texas. Koko is an "oldie but goodie" who loves slow walks, curling up in big comfy dog beds, and indulging in treats and chewy bones. Belly rubs are her favorite, and she enjoys quiet moments lounging on her back or sitting with her person. She gets along wonderfully with her furry siblings and is great with other dogs.
Koko is also kid-friendly, especially with gentle children aged 8 and up. She is fully potty trained, adept at using a doggie door, and will even go into a large crate on her own. She walks perfectly on a leash without pulling, making her an ideal companion for an older person seeking a loyal friend. Koko is very obedient and knows commands like sit, lay down, stay, and come. Off-leash, she stays close by and responds immediately to a whistle or a call.
Her loving, loyal nature means that once she bonds with you, it’s a bond for life. Koko is ready to bring joy and companionship to a special forever home. She's the perfect addition to any family looking for a devoted and gentle companion.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
