Story
Meet Augie, a playful and resilient pup who has overcome so much in his young life and is now ready to find his perfect family. He is full of energy, loves to have fun, and is always up for an adventure. Augie gets along wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats, making him a great addition to any home. He is highly food-motivated and takes treats gently, which makes training a breeze. He also does well in a kennel, rides great in the car, and is eager to learn.
When Augie arrived at the shelter, he was battling a respiratory infection and had an injured leg. Despite everything he has been through, he never lost his happy spirit. Though he still has a slight limp from an old fracture, he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He is always ready to play, explore, and soak up all the love he can get.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
