Story
Meet Lollipop! She is currently almost 6 weeks old, and we think she may be a Pit/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Lollipop's video here: Lollipop is playful, sweet, curious, and so very snuggly. In fact, it's very hard to resist snuggling this tiny soft furball, and she seems to enjoy the closeness of snuggles. (At least, she doesn't protest when we smother her with kisses, lol. Don't worry, we are sure that you will do the same.) We originally thought that Lollipop was the shyest of her litter, but she proved herself to be bold and brave by being the first to use us as a stepladder in her climb up to the couch and lands beyond. We love that she is brave enough to explore, and gentle when climbing too. We love Lollipop's soft floppy ears and expressive eyes - if you're like us, her baleful and plaintive eye rolls will keep you smiling and chuckling. We can't wait to see what puppy antics this tiny girl will lead! Lollipop comes from a litter of 6 and loves to play with her siblings and lots of toys, then take lots of naps. This gorgeous tiny fluffers is living her best puppy life in a loving and experienced foster home right now - all she needs is YOU! Lollipop is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67394379bb8d2c4b870c6108 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
This gorgeous girl is lovingly named Smiley, in honor of her near-constant smile. She’s a sweet little angel, good on leash and great in the car, with so much softness and affection to her. Smiley is a huge snugglebug, a natural socialite, an all around good time girl! She’s gentle and calm with children as well, and could make a fantastic family dog. Get to know Smiley here: https://youtu.be/gZkqkuAOodQ?si=OVpIf6fvUEW1_68N We think Smiley is a pit bull mix of some sort, around 3 years old. She currently weighs in around at a snuggly 54 pounds. We would call her a “medium energy” girl and a great social awareness that drives her energy level at any given time. She can be so calm, and would make a perfect office dog. Here at the rescue, she has peacefully sat in on multiple meetings, settling on the floor and keeping quiet. She was made for porch sitting as a hobby too- she could sit next to you and watch the world pass by all day. She’s perfect in the car, she likes to sit upright in the backseat, quietly watching through the windows and patiently waiting for her destination. She’s a huge snugglebug and could lay on top of you for hours, getting pets, watching a movie with you, or patiently waiting for you to finish up that last email of the day. On the other hand, she can be a rambunctious player! She is great with other dogs and loves to play chase, bunny-hopping around the yard. She loves toys, tennis balls, squeaky toys and stuffies. She can be vocal when she plays, but responds well to “quiet!” as a command. It can look a little intimidating, but it’s all in good fun for her, she just likes to let EVERYONE know that she’s having a good time! We would recommend her for a house over an apartment for this reason, we have a sneaking suspicion that she’ll bark at her toys when left home alone if given the opportunity. With humans, Smiley is all love, snuggles and playtime. She’s a perfect “weighted blanket” dog and loves to lay in your lap! She is gentle and will not push you, or knock you over with her love. She is very sweet with everyone she meets, a true heart-stealer. She does really well in public, and loves to make new friends. She’s great with kids of all ages too, from infancy to teenage years, Smiley loves them all. She’s so gentle and tolerant with them and would truly make an amazing family dog. Smiley has skills too! She knows “sit,” “quiet,” “down (off the couch)” and “lay down.” She’s easy on leash and checks in with her handler regularly, looking right at your face to make sure everything is still going well. If you haven’t fallen in love yet, be sure to watch Smiley’s video to get to know this perfect pittie girl even better. Her perfect home would have people to love on her, toys for her to play with, and a couch to snuggle on. We do recommend her for a house over an apartment, and we do not recommend her for a home with kitties. She would absolutely love to be your one and only, soaking up all of your affection, but we think she would adore a moderately playful doggy sibling to keep her company as well. Smiley is such a sweet, beautiful, loyal and intelligent dog. With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Smiley with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Please email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Butter will melt your heart! He has a wonderfully goofy personality that will always keep you laughing. He is friends with everyone he meets- dog or human! Butter has never met a stranger. He’s about 1 years old and weighs 40 lbs. He’s the perfect size to load up and go anywhere with you. He may sound big but boy is he the definition of a pocket Pittie! Going to start with total transparency so we find the right fit for him! Butter’s colon is much smaller than a normal dog because he had to have a prolapse repair that left him with a much smaller colon. He used to leak poop, but now with the farmers dog diet, he no longer does. He just needs much more frequent potty breaks. He lives a COMPLETELY normal and happy life other than this issue. His foster brothers and sisters include an 85lb male Dane mix, a 45 lb male Pittie, a 50lb female Pittie, 2 little puppies AND a female senior cat! He is great with other dogs and cats! He is the most friendly and social boy ever. Butter looks to be a pit bull mix and he lives in a loving foster home while he awaits someone to notice him! Butter is kennel trained and potty trained. He will let you know when he needs to go out to potty since he goes out more frequently. He is great on leash and is a quick learner! He loves treats and is food motivated. He is well mannered in the home and laid back, mostly napping unless it is playtime with the other dogs. If lounging around the house, he’d love to lay with you or at your feet. His big cushy bed is his favorite! He will need a machine washable one as he will occasionally leak on it accidentally. The cutest thing about Butter is: Butter is a very happy boy and gets so excited every day for everything! Whether it be crunching on a bone, eating his food, going outside, or going on a walk- he loves it all. Attention is the key to his heart, next to food! Car rides are also his favorite thing because he knows he gets to get a pup cup! Boy does he love some Starbucks! Butter is a big couch potato and will stretch out either next to you or over you, it doesn’t matter! He can get comfy anywhere. Butters foster says his favorite place to snuggle is on the outdoor couch when it’s sunny out. He will lay right over her legs or spoon her in the crack of the pillows! This boy loves to lay belly up and scratches are always welcome. He would make a wonderful adventure partner. He loves the outdoors and sun bathing. He enjoys rolling around in the grass and his foster says his favorite time to do so is when it’s freshly cut and it stains the white of his face green! He enjoys going on hikes or trips to the beach. He does have to stop for potty breaks more frequently but it does not slow him down any! Butter is searching for a family who will love him just the way he is. His imperfections and all! Someone who can look past his disability and love him unconditionally. Mess and all. His foster mom cannot rave enough about him! Apply now to adopt Butter. He is such a special boy!
