Story
Meet Remy! A face everyone can LOVE! Literally, it is soooo squishy and then that smile. Can you already tell we are a little bit obsessed?! Smart, potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, INSANELY cuddly and squishy! Remy is truly a special boy with a love for the ladies! He is trying to get to a ladies exclusive Pride event before the month is over! Don’t get me wrong though, Remy is a ladies man but he hasn’t written men off- he enjoys his male humans too! He just needs slow introductions and time to warm up. He needs time to slowly check them out, see what they are about, and then he’ll be your BFF and instant playmate. This boy is truly a loyal king! He is ready for furever and will roll, slip, and slide to get your attention, then hit you with the brown puppy-dog eyes to seal the deal! Sure he snores but its easy to ignore when he has so many other great qualities. Plus, he will always say yes to a coffee date as long as you are buying. His order never changes- one pup cup! Please and thank you! Remy is a 3LP favorite- from staff to volunteers, every person he meets falls head over heals or him. He may win the award for most Doggy-Day-Outs! He is consistently the chosen one, which is where he acquired a taste for Pup Cups and car rides. See him through the eyes of all us Remy lovers in his “dating profile introduction.” This hunk would prefer a home with no cats. Well, if I am honest- he would LOVE a home with cats- they are sooo fun to chase if you ask him. Us, we know that it causes chaos and makes any cat out there upset and we don’t want that for anyone! Remy may only want to play but cats think differently. This boy isn’t only good looks and good taste, he is smart too! He has learned to sit, stay, and his foster mom shared he is house trained! He loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is anything that squeaks.Plus, he is very treat motivated so continued training should be a piece of cake! Looks, manners, teachable… an actual dream man! Saint Remy is also great on leash and rides well in the car so he is ready for walks and hikes anywhere you want to go! Be warned though, he does try to sneak kisses while you drive, he isn’t pushy, just wants you to know he loves you for driving and how much he enjoys spending time with you. He would love a fenced in yard where he can roam and fetch a ball! Even if it’s just him tossing the ball to himself! Which, yes, he does! We believe Remy would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy and doesn’t mind the classic bully breed approach to play. He is absolutely up for being your one and only though, he has the love and adoration of 5 dogs in him to give and is ready to soak up all the attention and adventures he can to make up for “lost-time.” He has lived with large males both playful and more calm. He loves to romp around and share his toys and has always been the submissive one of the bunch. So much so that he is what we call an Assessment dog. This is basically a gold star in the 3LP world, a dog that is predictable and consistent, used to gauge in-coming dogs personality towards other dogs. Inviting if they were friendly, neutral if they were unsure, aloof and avoidant if the dog shows signs of being aggressive. Remy has helped save hundreds of dogs by being such a stable, non-conflict dog. He carved out a huge space in the heart of everyone at the rescue because he is a dogs-dog on top of all that charm. He isn’t a vocal boy so living in a condo/townhome environment would be fine as long as he receives plenty of toys and gets that much needed time to bask in the sun and daily walks (more like strolls). Ready to adopt Remy? Here is his adoption application https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64bfd6afb059e6bf0609a46f Questions? Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
She’s the sweetest, smartest and funniest dog we know! Taylor Snift and her perpetually wagging tail will melt your heart! She is SO smart, highly trainable, has mastered commands like sitting and shaking. Total tik-tok dog too, this girl would be the perfect candidate to teach silly viral-worthy tricks to, she LOVES learning, and already knows a handful of commands! 100% AWESOME ADVENTURE DOG with so much potential to become YOUR perfect dog. We believe Taylor to be an American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog mix of some sort. She’s around 50 pounds, and estimated to be around two and a half years old. However, Taylor is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Begin your LOVE STORY here: https://youtu.be/Lw1V1GrIyPM Taylor Snift is not just your average dog – she's an active and agile girl. She loves going on walks and runs, playing games in the back yard, and loves kids! Let her and your kiddos into the backyard, and half an hour later you’ll have a home full of tired little ones, ready to calmly enjoy a relaxing night. With her playful spirit, and ability to jump, she would excel in learning agility games, she’s so muscular and smart. Taylor Snift has the moves, wiggling her entire body when she's excited and ready for attention. She's the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys an active or semi-active lifestyle, has kids that need a playmate, or wants a furry friend to join them on hikes and outdoor adventures. Taylor is highly intelligent, and food-motivated, furthering her training will be enjoyable for both of you. Her intelligence brings her a desire for engagement that means that she actively seeks our opportunities to learn. If you’re looking for a dog to teach tik-tok worthy tricks, that’s Taylor, and she’ll LOVE you for it. She’s quick to learn boundaries and house rules too, takes verbal correction well, and is just always so eager to please. Social and friendly, Taylor Snift is a people-lover to her core. She gets excited about meeting new faces and loves making friends. She’s so loving and snuggly too, she balances out her day with cuddling up with her family and showing lots of affection. Taylor's loving nature extends to other dogs as well – she's a social butterfly, always ready for a playful romp with her canine companions. She’s a goofy player, she will find a toy in just about anything, perch on any surface to check it out, she’ll take tumbles and get up with a big grin on her face. She is such a bright part of the day for the other dogs at the rescue. Her playful spirit is infectious! Her love for toys knows no bounds, whether it's fluffy stuffed animals, squeaky toys, or bouncing balls! Taylor Snift is always up for a game of fetch or a snuggle with her favorite toys. With her adorable mismatched ears – one standing up and one flopping down – Taylor Snift has such a cute flair to her style! She is not only charming but downright irresistible. She's a picture-perfect pup, eagerly awaiting the day she finds her forever home. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, beautiful, loving and active companion, Taylor Snift might just be the furry friend you've been searching for. Taylor’s perfect home would have a big backyard for her to zoom in, and at least one adoring human to play with her, and love on her. Taylor would do well with other active and playful dogs in the home, or as a solo-dog, soaking up all of your love and attention! Taylor has lived with children before, and does well with them, however she can sometimes get a bit rowdy. We recommend her for a home with older, dog savvy kids- if your kids are used to big, active dogs, she could be a perfect match- but we wouldn’t recommend her for a first dog to a toddler. Taylor is not recommended for a home with cats, she was a little too interested in our house cat Tom. Taylor Snift says YOU BELONG WITH ME! Adopt Taylor Snift and bring endless love and joy and love into your life! We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Apply here https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/655cc4b27c89ed26c9084c5d Adoption Application Questions? Story
Introducing Janet, the heart-stealing pittie chihuahua mix! Janet is around 10 months old, and an absolute wonder dog- great with humans of all ages, dogs from puppy to senior, and cats. Janet has the playful spirit to spend hours outdoors with you, the stamina for long hikes, and a love for water that will make beach days with her a blast! She’s affectionate and cuddly enough to enjoy a lazy morning in bed, but energetic enough to enjoy days out and about. She’s the full package! Janet is the life of the party with her dog friends. She is so dog-friendly that she is perfect for doggy day care. Janet is used daily by our behavior team for new-dog-intake behavioral assessments! Janet meets new dogs every day to welcome them into our program, help us learn about their behaviors and personalities, and teach the newcomers that the rescue is a fun and safe environment. Because of her, hundreds of dogs' lives have been saved. Janet shares her food, toys, and space with all dog friends. It doesn't matter their age, sex, or size. She’s a sweetheart and a social butterfly! It is so fun to see her run and romp around the yards with her friends. She likes to play tag and chase. If it's raining? Even better! She runs straight to those puddles and splashes around. Janet has a childlike personality that will bring such joy into your life, when playing in puddles, Janet will come back to you to make sure you are watching her. It is so adorable! Did we mention how much she loves people?! Every single day when we go up to her crate she is quietly waiting, no messes, and wiggles her body for us to let her out! Janet walks great on the leash and makes sure to greet people on her walk with a big smile. If you let her go say hi to your friends she will! We absolutely love this girl at Three Little Pitties. Janet is very gentle with children. She has lived with a 10 and 2 year old. She constantly visits with a 3 year old kid as well. He loves to walk her! Janet is good with cats, she peacefully coexists with our resident house cat, she doesn’t have much interest in engaging with him at all, but is happy and content to share the couch with him! Though Janet is sweet, she's looking for a family ready to guide her through the puppy stages with training, socialization, and the dedicated care a young dog needs. Janet has lived in boarding most of her time with us, she is crate trained but is still learning what being "house trained" is. Consistency and routine is key! Janet's adoption promises unconditional love, endless snuggles, and kisses galore. She's looking forward to joining a family that cherishes walks and has the patience to let her blossom at her own pace. Janet has the independence and love-for-her-humans that would allow her to thrive as an only-child, but the social ability and kid and cat-friendliness to flourish as a family dog. With a commitment to house training from her adoptive family, she's set to become a loyal and loving companion. If you have been looking for a dog that will get along with your dog, message us so we can help guide you. Janet is amazing with dogs! If you’re looking for a well-rounded adventure dog with a healthy appreciation for couch potato time, a lovebug and a water dog, a socialite with unique beauty and charm, Janet is the girl for you! Will you be Janet’s family, will you guide Janet through life's adventures? Story
Hi, I’m Valentine… aka Val! They think I’m an American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier mix, around 4 years old. I’m a rescue though, so my exact age and breed are unknown to the humans, and cannot be guaranteed! I’m around 50 pounds, but don’t worry, I still fit in your lap! Fall in love with Valentine here: https://youtu.be/2SgfHqCREDw?si=JwKveTVTLwOTDhz_ I’m up for anything you throw at me, especially balls! In fact, I keep one in my mouth all the time for when you’re ready to play. I love being near my human, so near that I prefer being right next to you or on top of your lap. I stand still forever when you rub around my ears until I literally melt to lay down & if you throw in belly rubs, I’m definitely your Valentine 4ever. I’m so smart, I catch on to any task you give me. I even tried to help my foster work at her computer & turned on the camera while she was in a meeting when she preferred to be ‘heard & not seen’. That was an embarrassing sight - for her. They all adored seeing me! I’m a mix for sure, a mix of fun, love, loyalty & laughs. I play well by myself and with others. I’ve never met a stranger & love attention from everyone I meet, kids, cats, & dogs included. Did I say I like being close to you? Well, I do, I like “face time close”, so close I can smell your breath & you can smell mine - which is great by the way. I prefer being with you but I’m good in my crate if you’re too busy or need to leave the house. No crying or barking, just please leave me a toy or two. Speaking of leaving the house, I love car rides & watching the world go by with my head out the window! I love walks, I’m still working on my leash manners but I’m always happy to accompany you on a walk! I go everywhere with my foster, to restaurants and stores, and social gatherings! I love love love people, and I love being a part of the joy! Everyone tells me I’m super smart and highly trainable! I’m a great listener, that’s what these big ears are for! Oh, and I love kids too! I met a 6 year old this week and hopped up on the couch with him for some snuggles, he let me watch his iPad and gave me some pets! The humans said I was gentle and good with him. As you can see, I’m all about LOVE. I love everything & everyone and I’m looking for love! Will you be my Valentine every day of the year & let me be yours? We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Fostered in Portland, Oregon and ready for meet and greets! Meet Max (aka Makks)! He is a smart, good looking 46 pound, 2 year old sweetheart with soulful eyes who is extraordinarily gentle and loving with children. He is currently being fostered in Portland, Oregon with a dog trainer and 2 human siblings, ages 8 and 4, and does wonderfully with both kiddos. Max is particularly forgiving of younger children’s antics and loves being part of the action. Max doesn’t just tolerate children, but he adores them and loves to snuggle with them as much as possible. He thinks it’s his job to lick their faces clean every day in return for treats. According to his dog trainer foster dad, “Max is the most intelligent and trainable dog I have ever met.” He picks up training easily and knows sit, down, and stay. In the short amount of time that he has been in his foster home, Max has learned to stay on his bed during meal times like the good boy that he is. He is also housetrained and will come when called. Max is very versatile and will thrive in a home with a backyard or with a family who loves to go on runs or other adventures. For example, Max loves riding on a paddle board and will easily stay on it. He is always up for an adventure! Not surprisingly, Max is extremely athletic. He loves jumping up treehouses to hang out with the kids, showing off his agility skills, and playing fetch. After all that play, Max has shown that he can settle down easily and loves taking a nap on his dog bed. The possibilities are endless with Max! His foster family believes that any family would be lucky to adopt him and enjoy all the love he gives. Makks' favorite thing to do is to bask in all the attention and affection he can get from strangers. He knows NO strangers. He thinks they are all his BFF. Makks is so trustworthy that kids are drawn to him and he rolls over and lets them give him belly rubs. This boy is sweet and fun, and would love to to have a home that will take him on walks, practice fetch, and play with him! He’s mastered sitting beautifully and catching treats, and he loves playing fetch! Makks also loves a good swimming pool to cool off in. Watch your new bestie in his video: https://youtu.be/rCUCQP5Id8k Makks listens very well and is super obedient. He is easily corrected with your voice and eager to be a good boy always circling back and looking towards you. Makks would make a great sidekick to adventure off with or run errands with. Makks is your boy and ready to go home! He would love a home with a yard and his humans to take him on nature walks and runs, he is waiting for you! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
🐾 Meet Blueberry!🐾  Introducing Blueberry, a charming young puppy believed to be a mix of shepherd or husky and pittie. He’s around 50 pounds, and 10 months old. Blueberry is a smart, highly trainable boy with a beautiful blue/silver coat and for treats and toys. Blueberry is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He’s a sweet boy that enjoys your attention, he loves to hear you call him cute and handsome, and he loves chest scratches. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings and taking plenty of naps. Despite his initial shyness, he quickly warms up to people and pets, showering them with kisses once comfortable. He's hesitant around more assertive dogs but gets along well with small or gentle, larger ones. His reaction to cats was timid, indicating he could likely coexist peacefully with a feline friend. Blueberry has spent time with children, and gets along with them well! Recently, we watched Blueberry interact with a toddler, he was softer and gentler with a little one than he usually is with adults. He gave the sweetest kisses, kept his paws to himself and wasn’t too pushy! Blueberry would do well as a family dog. Blueberry loves to follow his person around the house, gazing up for attention and affection when available. Blueberry knows some basic commands, but he’s still working on some of his manners. He’s highly food motivated, which will make further training enjoyable for both of you. Blueberry is in the prime of his learning phase, showing great potential for socialization and training. He is working on his potty and crate training and needs a family committed to continuing this education and providing the daily exercise he needs to thrive. Blueberry is currently fostered in Texas, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and in good health, ready to travel across the country. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Are you ready to give Blueberry the loving home he deserves and get endless kisses in return? This sweet boy is just waiting to become your loyal companion! 🐕💕 Currently fostered in Texas, he is current on shots, neutered, healthy and ready to travel to the Pacific Northwest or New England areas!
