To learn more about Lila, please get in touch with henryfungchang@gmail.com. Meet your next best friend, Lila! Lila is a loving, cuddly dog that loves any and all human interaction! She loves to play, and will engage in any games you want to play! While she can be energetic, her favorite activity is just to chill and relax. She especially enjoys blankets, sofas, and beds! Her favorite spot is in the corner of the bed, leaving you plenty of room, how perfect! Lila has done very well in her foster home, being very polite, doing all her business outside, and just being a joy to have around! She is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows lots of tricks! Her manners are on point, and she has responded well to her name. In addition to her name, she also seems to know "sit", "down", "shake", and "stay". She has done very well in vehicles in the past, and seems to enjoy the ride! She has slowly warmed up to living with a cat in a foster home, so slow introductions will be necessary for her. She has done well in the past with some dogs but can be leash-reactive, so a household with dog experience, patience, and the ability to handle Lila's size and energy would be best for her.

Aster is a sweetheart who has been stealing the hearts of all the people she meets. Her love and excitement for life are contagious. She always brightens up the day of her human friends with her joyful and enthusiastic personality! Aster is extremely loyal and loves being close to her people. She shows her affection by leaning into you and giving you a huge smile. It's nearly impossible not to smile back! She is adventurous and enjoys hiking and going on walks, but equally enjoys cuddling on the couch. She enjoys playing with rope toys and having the zoomies in the yard, but her favorite activity is playing in the water. Whether it's the beach, a creek, or a doggy pool, Aster is the first one to dive right in! From her time in homes on Dogventures, Aster Lee is reported to be fully house trained, is a lovely houseguest, and will even go to the door to let you know she has to go outside. She's a smart girl who knows a few basic commands, like sit, paw, down, place, stay, and she is always eager to learn more! Aster also loves other dogs. One of her favorite times of the day is when she gets to see her dog friends during the daily playgroup sessions she enjoys in the yard of the rescue care center. She's a social butterfly and makes friends with every dog she meets! Aster Lee is seeking an experienced and loving family. She is very excited to find the forever family that she can shower with love!

To learn more about Harry, please get in touch with melodythechamp@gmail.com Harry will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) He's not the wizard Harry, he's not Prince Harry, he's the doggo Harry! Meet Harry, the sweetest, goofiest, and most lovable boy! Harry is looking for an active forever home where he can live like a prince! Harry loves walks and has done very well on a leash, stopping for intervals, and sticking with you. Although Harry will need lots of exercise, he has had a soft, cuddly side to him that will just melt your heart. He loves burying his head into you, showing you his version of a hug, with all the love and affection you could ask for! Be prepared for him to show you he's a lap dog. Harry's favorite game is fetch, but he is not all too picky with his toys, he loves them all! The games you play, he will surely participate. His zest for life can overwhelm small children, so a home with kids 12+ would be best for Harry. He does well with dogs, and has thoroughly enjoyed playgroup at the rescue center! Harry has done well with house manners and has been crate trained, though he wouldn't mind a refresher! He is a star when it comes to basic training, knowing to "sit" like a master! His deep food motivation makes him a lovely dog to do tricks with. Harry is a bit too curious about cats, so a feline-free home would be best for this great young man. His goofy eyes, Jack-Russel-like coloring, mixed with his sweet personality and good manners make him your next companion! Come meet him at one of our events, he would love to say hi!

Well, Willow Grace has it for you! Willow is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves any attention she can get. As her graceful roots indicate, she saunters on leash with minimal pulling, sniffing, and investigating her surroundings. Her sweet and friendly nature doesn't stop with humans, as she has gotten along in the past with other dogs! In addition to her poised demeanor, Willow Grace is a perfect house guest, as she is also housebroken. She would benefit from a human who would take the time to help her meet her health goals. But don't let her muscular build fool you, as she loves to run around with her ears in the wind! Willow Grace knows the command "sit" when there's a treat involved, so she would benefit from learning more basic commands. But her snuggly personality more than makes up for it. Willow has so much love to spread to the world around her. If all this love is just what you're looking for, come meet her at one of our events this weekend!

Story
Sarah is a handsome 2 1/2 year old purebred American Pitbull Terrier, about 62 lbs. and pure love bug. We are forced to rehome her because she goes after our cat and, while we kept them separated our young children can't be relied on to always follow the rules. We decided for our cat's safety this was the only option. Sarah loves playing with dogs and is a marshmallow with small children. my kids love dressing her up and even though you could tell this was not her favorite activity she would be totally compliant while the kids tied a bonnet to her head. She is protective of her family, and therefore suspicious of strangers and will bark and growl when unfamiliar people approach but has never nipped or attempted to bite anyone. In fact she is the most soft mouthed dog I've ever experienced. She behaves wonderfully when left alone but would prefer to always be with her people. In short: a sweet guard dog whose reaction when the baby grabs her tail will be kisses and cuddles.

Story
Male, 1.5 years, 65lbs Personality: Loyal, protective, gentle, easygoing, goofy/funny, playful, affectionate, and lover. Are you ready to Spike up your life? Well, that's me - Spike! I am a happy-go-lucky boy who adores people. As far as I'm concerned, the closer you are the better. I'm all about cuddling with my favorite people. My social nature extends to dogs as well. The dog park is always a fun time! Not to brag, but I have been told I am incredibly smart and quick to understand and learn new things. For example, I know the words "sit," "no," "come," and "crate". I can switch easily from an active "outdoor" mode to lazy "indoor" mode, so we can enjoy both outdoor exploring and indoor snuggling on a lazy afternoon. I will forever be by your side. I would LOVE to meet you. Perhaps we can take a walk and meet some new friends. If you get a cup of coffee, you won't need to Spike your drink - I have that covered! Please, apply today so we can meet soon. If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Story
Female, 1 year old, 52 lbs Personality: gentle, snuggler, loyal, goofy/funny, and protective. Introducing Leila the wonder dog! She is the BFF you have been searching for: gentle, cuddly, loving and funny. Loyal Leila will sit patiently and watch you while you work, and the second you head to the couch to watch TV she will be right there with you to snuggle. This darling often dozes off during couch time, and her adorable snores are the perfect soundtrack to whatever you are watching! When you're ready for action, Leila will happily join you for a walk or a good game of fetch. You will also be rolling with laughter when she turns on her goofy side. Leila is so exuberant she will sometimes pull on her leash to get to where she wants to go (usually to meet another dog) but is getting better with the help of a leader leash. She's also making progress on house training and is now comfortable in her crate overnight; she'll happily sleep in it and let you know in the morning when she needs to go out. Leila is one smart cookie and already knows the words "sit and "no. Leila would love to get your belly rubs and some butt scratches. Who knows, perhaps she will be the best friend you ever had. Leila was sponsored by the Betsock Family in memory of Ziggy (FKA Vaughn). If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. Story
Female, 1 yr old, 37 lbs Personality: easygoing, snuggler, playful, affectionate, goofy/funny, quiet, and rambunctious. If you are looking for an absolute cuddle monster, River is the pup for you! She is such a goofy, affectionate dog and adores attention, pets, and napping directly on her humans whenever she can. River enjoys her walks around the neighborhood or going on a hiking adventure. She also loves playing fetch, tug-of-war, and other human games - but her absolute favorite thing is wrestling in the yard with other dog buds. River is a quick learner - she's doing well with housetraining and knows the words "go potty and "go outside. She's also doing well with crate training, including overnights and breaks during the day when her humans need to run errands or she's getting a little too excited with playtime. River can be a little mischievous, though she responds well to redirection. Because she loves energetic playtime, she might do best in a home with another dog of a similar size and energy level. Could this lovable goofball be the pup for you? Apply today to meet River! If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $500

I'm King. I am loving, loyal, and - ok, you made me say it - very handsome. Oh, and did I mention that I am looking for a best friend to adopt me? I like leash walks, especially in calm and quiet spaces where we can spend some quality time together without the crowds. But, I may get distracted by all of the wonderful smells because I really do need to put my nose on everything to explore the wonders of the world. Not only am I curious, I am up for a challenge! I like to run across streams, jump on logs, and hike the trails. I have lots of energy so will be sure to help keep up with your exercise plan. I even like to get in a jog from time to time. And, not to brag, but I am pretty smart. But, for the sake of all those delicious treats, I will pretend that it takes me time to master new tricks and skills. One more thing to tell you. I like to talk when I play. I hope you will come to meet me so we can play together forever, just you and me!
