Story
7 year old Kane came to us after he had been run over and pinned under a vehicle. He spent a year rehabbing here, just to heal from the damage to his skin. He is a wonderful dog! He is housetrained, microchipped and neutered. Kane has been with us for a couple years now helping us teach other dogs how to dog, but he longs for his own home. He is good with most other dogs, loves smaller dogs, loves to play fetch, love to sunbathe outside. He would love to sleep on the bed laying against your legs! He can be lazy or be your hiking partner, he is happy either way. He is great with people and kids. Great in public. Listens well. He is truly a gem. He has been patiently waiting for the exact right family to find him. Could it be you? Please fill out an application on our website if you would like to set up a meet and greet via the link below. https://bit.ly/pawdadopt

Story
Lulu is a 6 (unsure of exact age) yr. old Pit/Sharpei mix. She’s spayed and up-to-date on shots. Lulu started out as a foster after her owners died. After a couple of months she began to have a problem with the senior dog in the household. They’ve tried training, meds, nothing has helped ease her mind that she’s got nothing to fear. There are other dogs that she gets along with in the house. She loves all people, kids included, but will do best as an only dog for someone who wants a pretty lazy snuggle bug. She does have a couple of lumps. One was removed and benign but the others need to be watched. Lulu was bred several times before the current owners took her into foster. If you are interested in this troubled but innocent and loving beast of a Lulu, please apply at sccpets.com and we’ll put you in touch with her current owners who can give you the entire backstory and answer any questions you may have. Lulu’s adoption donation is $100.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 10, 2025, 2:49 pm

Story
This is Diva! We helped save her from death row. She was going to be euthanized for lack of space after only 6 days. She is safe in Vancouver, WA now. She will go to her new forever home fully vetted/UTD on shots, spayed, + having had experienced what a loving home could feel like. Please consider opening your heart + home to this wonderful baby. She is between 1-2 years old, so full of life, + sweetness! Diva will be most successful in a home with experienced, confident, clear, + consistent but kind leadership. She does best with confident male dogs. Unknown how she does with cats +/or kids so a slow introduction + always closely supervised would be necessary. She kennels well after she has had time to go potty, get some zoomies out for 15-20 mins. + has some loving. She sits quickly + is very food motivated- easy to train. She has not had accidents in the house so we think she is fully potty trained + waiting for you! Leash walks well- does pull some. Please share her listing!

Story
Tank is a 5 year old pit mix. He has always been a sweet sweet boy. He thinks he's a lap dog and likes to sleep in bed with you. He knows how to sit and wait (for a short amount of time). He has some resource gaurding issues. Tank was my husbands dog and my husband unfortunately passed away in March. Since then Tank has been very reactive to my son who is 18 months. Prior to my husbands passing Tank and my son got along great. Tank would follow him around and lay with him. But since my husbands passing something has changed. Tank doesn't seem to care for my son any longer. When we go for walks Tank still seems fine with the neighborhood kids it's my son specifically. Rehoming him breaks my heart as he is part of our family and he was my late husbands dog. However my sons needs are my top priority. Tank needs someone who has the time he deserves. Being a newly single mom that's something I can no longer provide for him. Tank just needs someone who will love him and cuddle on the couch.
