Story
Come meet JT! This adorable guy is looking for his new home - but he will need to find humans that have patience with him. JT is the kind of pup that needs to work up to fully trusting people, so he will need to find a family that has nothing but love to offer. It was reported that he does well with cats and dogs, but slow introductions are always a nice way to ease him into living with new siblings. JT has also done well with kids in the past, so he should have no issue finding his right fit. Come meet him today!

Story
Lacey is a sweet but shy girl. She is warming up to one of her fosters, and is always excited to see her come home. Lacey likes to run around the yard when she has the zoomies, she will bark at birds, roll in the grass, and have an overall great time. We find this to be a good sign of her loosening up and settling in. Lacey is a little iffy of dogs who don't respect her boundaries. She doesn't like when small dogs get in her face so we will do a dog meet before adoption to make sure that her doggy family members are ones she can live with.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Marshmallow! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake', and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Marshmallow is a cuddle bug that just wants to be loved on. She does well with some dogs, and not well with others. This doesn't necessarily mean she has to be an only dog, but will require a meeting to see if it's a fit. She is house trained and kennel trained as well. She has proved to be a great running partner. She picks up on your pace very nicely. When Marshmallow is getting loved on she will growl. This isn't aggressive by any means, she just wants to show you how content she is! She can however be a little mouthy when the energy is high. Due to this, we recommend no children until 5. When we introduced Marshmallow to cats, her reaction was up in the air. We can test her again if someone with a cat is interested in her. She is eager to learn and is very treat motivated. This has made training her fairly easy up at PACK. Marshmallow will be graduating towards the beginning of April. Apply today to meet her today!

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Marvel! He is a brand new graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Although Marvel can have bursts of energy once in a while, he is more of a couch potato than anything. He's love to share the couch and steal a couple kisses if you let him. There are a few dogs he gets along with, but as always, he'll need to meet any new siblings to make sure they are compatible with each other. When his humans arrive back from being gone, his entire body wiggles from his head, all the way to the tip of his tail - and adds a cute little snort here and there! He really loves to be around his people. We do know that Marvel does not do well with cats. At all. He will need to go to a home without cats. He does have some body handling sensitivities, especially with vet care. Due to this, he shouldn't go to a home with kids under 10 years old. He is house trained and kennel trained. Does the marvelous Marvel intrigue you? If so, apply to meet him!

This cutie with the best ears is Diesel! Diesel is looking for a new home with a dog buddy in it. He gets anxious when he is left home alone, and will benefit if there is another dog around. When he's alone with no other friends, he sometimes pees in the house, whereas when he has friends around he does better. He has been around cats & kids before and does well with both! He loves car rides and walks. This guy is the total package. Apply to meet him today!

Story
This sweet and docile gal is Onyx. She is a fairly laid back girl who really just wants someone to shower her with love. She is good around other dogs, and didn't seem overly interested in cats, although we don't have any history of her living with cats. Onyx would love to be with someone most of the time, as she's not a huge fan of kenneling, and can sometimes get into mischief when alone. But if anything important is put up, you should be in the clear! She is housetrained and also knows how to use a doggy door. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Molly is a sweet girl who loves attention, reassurance, and belly rubs.  Love and reassurance will strengthen her self-confidence. She is a bit shy and can be nervous around strangers until she gets to know them. Molly loves to go for walks and is very good on a leash. A harness may be a good choice for walks. She prefers quiet walks where she can avoid large numbers of people and dogs. At Doggy Daycare, she is familiar with the staff and gets very excited when she gets there. At the dog park, she can be a bit timid, especially if there are a lot of dogs there. She will let you know if she's uncomfortable and would prefer to go somewhere else. Molly has yet to experience around cats or other small critters.  At 2.5 years, she is still a (big) puppy with a lot of energy. She loves running around the yard and is starting to understand the concepts of playing fetch, but her favorite game is Catch Me If You Can. She loves toys. A fenced yard is recommended because she can be a curious wanderer.December 27, 2024, 3:50 pm

Story
Meet Harlow! Harlow is a 2-year-old pitty mix who has only ever wanted to make sure everyone loves him. If someone looks sad, he'll bring them one of his chewed-up toys to cheer them up. He loves any and all physical activity, including hiking, jogging, and long walks! He knows a ton of commands and loves learning new ones. Hide-and-seek is his favorite indoor game. He makes the perfect pillow to cuddle in the early morning and evening. Harlow is looking for an active home that enjoys going for long walks or hikes and having fun within the home. He thrives with being given direction and structured play. He would do best with older children as he tends to forget his size when overly excited.January 15, 2025, 4:13 pm

Story
Meet Achilles! Achilles is the sweetest, most loving boy. He’s a sensitive guy who always wants to be in your lap, cuddling.   He’s very talkative but doesn’t bark often. He is highly food motivated and loves treats (he is allergic to chicken, though, and has never had anything with grain in it!) No stuffy toys for Chilles - he swallows them, but he is a big fan of nylabone-type toys! He is not super active—he is more of a lazy dude, probably due to the back surgery he had as a baby. He used a kennel when he was little but is totally fine staying out when we are gone. He is not destructive.    Achilles would be great in a house without kids or other pets. He would love to have a yard, but he also does fine in an apartment. He could use some training on a leash. He is sometimes a little reactive but does fine with his muzzle. March 8, 2025, 2:15 pm

Story
Athena is a sweetheart and deserves a home that isn’t so busy and has time to train her, she has separation anxiety and can not be left alone because she will tear stuff up. But she’s so sweet to every other living being. I just can’t keep her because I work and go to school and don’t have my own place. I did have a place when I got her. She loves to run and play, she loves treats and napping either on my bed or underneath it. It breaks my heart to rehome her but she deserves better.

Story
Lucy may look like an older gal, but we think she's only around 3 years old. She has some pep in her step and we think she's just one that prematurely greyed. We do know she has some skin allergies, and gets the occasional ear infection. At this time, she is on Apoquel, a daily medication to help her skin. We do believe she may need to be on it lifelong. She does great with the other dogs, big and small in her foster home! She met cats here at the center and didn't seem to be fazed by them. *Lucy's adoption fee has been sponsored in the memory of Mick Nagy, who was an avid animal lover.* Apply to meet this sweet girl, today!
