Story
Meet Specks! This adorable boy is an absolute delight to be around and is ready to find his forever home! Please note that Specks does not do well with change and will need an adopter who is committed to giving him the time and space he needs to decompress in his new home. He is an absolute lover boy who bonds closely with his people, but needs to have time to understand the situation first. From his current foster: "Specks has a heart full of love and craves every bit of attention you can offer! He's a true cuddle bug who will snuggle next to you all night long. He gets zoomies when he is excited, and he loves to play with his squeaker toys. Though he has some anxieties to work through, his eagerness to please is helping him make great strides in general obedience. With slow introductions and patience, he's on track to become a perfect companion and family addition. Specks does well on the leash and gets along with his new dog friend, Cayde. Overall, Specks is making wonderful progress and is eager to find his forever home where he can share his endless affection. Previous shelter staff notes: The class clown award goes to Specks! He's HYSTERICAL! He LOVES to play with toys and he gets the cutest zoomies! Specks has a HUGE smile and he is sure to keep you laughing with his silly antics! This boy brings a positive energy to any atmosphere and he's a staff favorite with his silly shenanigans! You won't be disappointed in his cutie patootie! From his foster: "lil Specs update from the days he was with me :)) Specs has THE biggest heart and just wants every ounce of love and attention you have! He is the biggest cuddle bug and will sleep next to you all night long! He has some anxieties he needs to work through, but since he's young i have no doubt they will be resolved quickly! with slow introductions and patience he will make the perfect companion for anyone! Specs does great on the leash and is not aggressive towards his kitty friends, however he gets so excited when they come to play that he scares them a bit. Since Specs is a littler nervous and tends to jump he might do best in a household without small children just so he doesn't knock them over! Overall Specs has so much love to give and cannot wait to find his forever person! Story
From his amazing foster: "Ghost is such a loving handsome dude with the cutest freckles! He has so much love for the outdoors and is the perfect Colorado pup and companion to explore the beautiful mountain trails with. He loves long walks/runs and car rides. When he is not outside, he loves to entertain himself with a rubber Kong ball/wobble ball and some other strong toys that let him use his strength and brain. He is overall the best dog for an active household. While he love an adventure, he also loves to cuddle, and despite not being a small pup, he will find a way to be the best lap dog. He is great with most pups, with a proper introduction, but may not fit the best in a home with a cat. Ghost is such a lover and is loyal. He is super trainable and has some fun skills that just need some dusting off." Ghost is a wonderful adult! He can be a but more shy meeting new people at the start but is building his confidence more and more each day! He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking to continue to build his confidence and is willing to be patient with him. ADOPTION FEE: $425.00 From his current foster: "Ghost is a wonderful adult! He can be a but more shy meeting new people at the start but is building his confidence more and more each day! From his previous foster: "Ghost is a handsome boy who loves to play. He enjoys playing fetch, but is also good when it comes to quiet and relaxation time. Ghost would love a home where he can play with other dogs, but not with cats. Ghost is trainable and loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. He is loyal to his people and can curl up and relax near them or in his kennel and be comfortable. Ghost is the perfect boy looking for his perfect home." ADOPTION FEE: $425 Meet Moondance! This lovely lady has just arrived in Colorado and is ready to find her forever home! From her current foster 11/12: This sweet, gorgeous girl is as loyal and loving as they come. Moondance adores cuddles, is always up for an adventure, and has so much potential to be the perfect addition to a forever family. She's happiest on car rides, running in big open fields, and playing tug of war or fetch. Start your morning with her favorite-eggs with her kibble-and end the day with cuddles in bed (she sleeps through the night)! She has much to be taught and is eager to learn! Moondance would thrive in a home that can give her the patience, time, and consistency she deserves. With a little love, I know she'll shine as the loyal, affectionate, and unconditionally loving companion she's meant to be. From her amazing foster: "Moondance is a big goofy love bug! She loves to plop right next to you and hangout or follow you around wherever you go! She LOVES to play tug a war and will put her toy right up to your hand so you play with her! She also loves fetch, going on walks/runs and car rides! She will curl up right next to you (or on your pillow) and sleep all through the night too:) She's still figuring out her strength and size as she may take you on a walk and pull you a bit! She is a very good listener and knows "sitand "down while also if you call her she will come running right to you! She has never had an accident and is so good about going up to the door to the backyard when she has to go potty!! Moondance is so happy to meet every person she sees but does get a bit stressed out in rooms with a lot of people she is unsure of but she is getting a lot better!!! Moondance would be perfect in a home that is a little more quiet and maybe the only dog so she can be in the spotlight! She has so much love to give and is truly such a sweetheart that you will fall in love with instantly! and she LOVES to hike!" From our rescue partner: Playgroup - https://youtu.be/14TbQEZlqWI Playgroup - https://youtu.be/4REhad_nxt4 Playgroup - https://youtu.be/b9YnqpDCYfo Moondance is a gentle and friendly female dog who is a perfect mix of calm and quiet. She enjoys making new friends and is always ready for a snuggle. Moondance is an adult dog with a dainty and gentle spirit. She would be the perfect addition to any family looking for a sweet and loving companion. If you're looking for a new fur baby to join your family, please consider adopting Moondance. ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Blaise, this sweet adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From her wonderful foster 12/9: "Blaise -she wants all of your love and has soooo much love to give in return! She's going so well with potty training, hasn't had any accident in foster, she's doing really well with crate training, can spend time and sleep in crate but would so much rather be with her people -walks well on a leash, just needs gentle reminders that dogs and people aren’t enemies. On the other hand, I feel incredibly safe when walking with her at night -she’s a wonderful protector of the home, and tells newcomers that they need a good sniffing before they can come in. And then after 5 seconds she’s wagging her tail and showing her belly -she’s a brown velvet hippo with the prettiest brindle pattern that shines in the sun -dog selective: needs slow introductions. she loves her doggy friends and would love a sibling, so it’s important that her new person is a patient owner that can learn and understand her boundaries ***trying to figure out how to word this best -would love a backyard to run and play in -her favorite spots to sit are right next to you or on the top corners of couches (like she’s a little dog haha) -is a very silly goofball -she would prefer not to share her toys so it’s important that there aren’t toys laying around if there’s another dog in the home -she’s not destructive at all, but needs some activity to stimulate her very smart brain -has great recall once she trusts you ❤️❤️❤️" From her amazing foster: "Blaise is doing great! we came home and I feel like she had a new level of trust with our dogs, she has been trying to engage in play with them more and sit side by side without as much grumbling. She just needs to be guided to succeed with her doggie friends!" Previous Shelter Notes: Playing with another dog - https://youtu.be/dHLSSRA1bpM Leash meet with another dog - https://youtube.com/shorts/mhJ03mI1q8Y Meeting dog through fence - https://youtu.be/dokhNBtEmNY Treat catch! Sit! Good girl! - https://youtube.com/shorts/OUNfWeghNQ0 Staff notes - Blasie is the sweetest girl and she loves to get cuddles! Bio- Blaise is a loving and smart girl who is affectionate and gentle with people. She is a well-behaved and sweet dog who is great with other dogs. She's a sweet mama dog who weaned her pups and deserves a beautiful home to call her own. She is a delight to be around and is very good on her leash. She catches treats, knows how to sit, and is an obedient and playful girl who loves her squeaky toy. She loves going on walks and playing with her canine friends. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side, Blaise is the perfect girl for you. Here is a heartwarming story about Blaise, who despite being a sweet and gentle mother to her pups, has found herself without a home. This affectionate and smart girl has proven herself to be an incredible companion, beloved by everyone she meets. From her affectionate nature to her gentle and playful spirit, Blaise has captured the hearts of her friends and family. Unfortunately, life hasn't always been easy for this deserving girl, but we're confident that her loving nature and good behavior will help her find the perfect home. With her sweet disposition and friendly attitude, Blaise has proven herself to be an excellent companion for both humans and other dogs. She is always eager to please and is an intelligent girl who has already learned several basic commands. Not only is she a loving and loyal friend, but Blaise is also an incredibly playful pup who loves everyone she meets. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to add to the family, Blaise is waiting for you! Hi my name is Miles! I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico and was just two days from my set euthanasia. But I was saved! I was found with skin cancer and had been given up on, but these people took me in and fingers crossed the cancer is gone for good. I am a 5 year old Grey Pitbull with the kindest soul. I am very gentle and will sit with my head on your lap until you give in to pet me. But don't be fooled, I get excited about toys and people. I am good with other dogs and I love my kennel. I am also protective of the people I am close to. Like most pitbulls, I am overlooked a lot. I want to be loved just like anyone else. Would you give me a chance?

Hi my name is Mocha! My sister and I were taken in as fosters at Buddy's House. We have been here for a few weeks now and have gotten little to no interest. I am smart and food-motivated. I have been learning to walk on a leash and wait before eating my food. I am extremely snuggly and love to curl up next to the nearest pup or person. I am a ball of energy and love toys but will never skip a cuddle on the couch when I calm down. I have been doing well with my house-training and am doing well learning to use a doggy-door. Come visit me!

Hello, my name is Jasmine and I am a friendly lady who is looking for a home! I can be shy in new places but once I warm up I am sweet and affectionate. I`ve also enjoyed meeting other dogs while in the shelter but I may do best in a home as a single dog because I can be selective about what dogs I share a home with. I would love to meet any dogs in the home at the shelter before being adopted to help ensure we are a good fit. Come and meet me!
