Meet Blaise, this sweet adorable girl is ready for her forever home!
From her wonderful foster 12/9: "Blaise -she wants all of your love and has soooo much love to give in return! She's going so well with potty training, hasn't had any accident in foster, she's doing really well with crate training, can spend time and sleep in crate but would so much rather be with her people -walks well on a leash, just needs gentle reminders that dogs and people aren’t enemies. On the other hand, I feel incredibly safe when walking with her at night -she’s a wonderful protector of the home, and tells newcomers that they need a good sniffing before they can come in. And then after 5 seconds she’s wagging her tail and showing her belly -she’s a brown velvet hippo with the prettiest brindle pattern that shines in the sun -dog selective: needs slow introductions. she loves her doggy friends and would love a sibling, so it’s important that her new person is a patient owner that can learn and understand her boundaries ***trying to figure out how to word this best -would love a backyard to run and play in -her favorite spots to sit are right next to you or on the top corners of couches (like she’s a little dog haha) -is a very silly goofball -she would prefer not to share her toys so it’s important that there aren’t toys laying around if there’s another dog in the home -she’s not destructive at all, but needs some activity to stimulate her very smart brain -has great recall once she trusts you ❤️❤️❤️"
From her amazing foster: "Blaise is doing great! we came home and I feel like she had a new level of trust with our dogs, she has been trying to engage in play with them more and sit side by side without as much grumbling. She just needs to be guided to succeed with her doggie friends!"

Bio- Blaise is a loving and smart girl who is affectionate and gentle with people. She is a well-behaved and sweet dog who is great with other dogs. She's a sweet mama dog who weaned her pups and deserves a beautiful home to call her own. She is a delight to be around and is very good on her leash. She catches treats, knows how to sit, and is an obedient and playful girl who loves her squeaky toy. She loves going on walks and playing with her canine friends. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side, Blaise is the perfect girl for you. Here is a heartwarming story about Blaise, who despite being a sweet and gentle mother to her pups, has found herself without a home. We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event.

We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend!
All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!
