Story
Theo! He is the best boy. I smile everytime I think of him and you will too. He is smart, loving, caring, sweet and any other sappy word you can think of for a cat. He has been a great big brother to his siblings and the perfect child to his parents. I can't praise him enough. His father Leo (also in pic 3) is up for adoption as well. He does like to venture outdoors sometimes so if you have a fenced in yard, that would be great for him. But indoors is his prime location. A good home with a loving owner is all that I ask for my favorite boy.

Story
Leo is a sweet, cuddly guy. He came up to my door one day as a kitten, very loud and very hungry for such a small guy. He has since grown into a confident young gentleman. He loves a good nap and plays with toys until he's bored. He will probably do best with no other cats or just one. His son Theo, is also up for adoption and they would be great together. He's in picture 3 giving him love. If you have a loving home and looking for a sweet guy to greet you when you come home, Leo is your guy.

Story
Peculiar little lurker yet 100% lover boy is a pretty accurate description for Cheddar. He arrived at Renegade sick and tiny, rescued from animal hoarding. He spent the majority of his life being nurtured at the shelter and is currently residing in a foster home. He is really warming up to the idea of having a home of his own. Cheddar is a scared little boy however his obsession with comfortable furniture and head pets is helping him to come out of his shell. He would be perfectly content relaxing on a king size bed or perched on a cat tree all day. He does not care to be picked up and is easily startled, however he absolutely loves being loved on. Cheddar really likes having other cats around to teach him how to cat. He also seems to warm up to calm smaller dogs pretty quickly as long as they are respectful of his space. He does hide at times but he is so eager to be a part of what is going on. You can see it in his sweet little face that he wants to be included he just isn't quite sure how just yet. Cheddar would thrive in a quiet home with a family that understands just how special he is. It takes a little more time to receive his affections but he is so worth it.

Story
Meet our sweet SC Peach! Peaches was found abandoned near a gas-station dumpster in Bluffton, but she did not let that get her down. She remains sweet and brave; and it is clear she had been in a home before. She is a true people cat, but definitely needs exercise and play before she settles down for cuddles or naps. She is a young and VERY smart cat. She loves cuddles and just hanging out after play. She is fully vetted, spayed and estimated at 9 months to a year or so in age. While Peaches is a love and would probably do well with another kind cat in her new home, she would also thrive as a spoiled solo cat. Understanding she has been through some rough times and will need a little time to settle into her new home and trust her new people, respectful/gentle older children or no children are recommended. Very few orange cats are female, so this little girl is a true diamond in the rough. For the safety of our cats, a home check is a condition of adoption, but this can be done at the time of adoption as we bring the cat to you! We offset this by a low adoption fee. INDOOR HOMES ONLY. Our required application can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/231967731104152

Story
Oreo has been with us for a little while now and we have really gotten to know him. He came to us when he was abandoned with his sister Hazel (now adopted) at a local trailer park. He has been taken into a wonderful foster home to decompress from his time on the streets and wow, is he is doing GREAT! The potential in him is truly unlimited; and someone will be so lucky to have this journey of discovery and further emotional healing with him. We have learned he is a total love bug once he learns to trust you. This can take a week or two, so we are looking for a kind and patient adopter to simply let this shy little guy acclimate at his own speed. We have also learned that he does great with other young cats and might really enjoy a cat-friendly, confident buddy who will show him the ropes in his new home. But he would also thrive as your one and only. Let’s work together to find this diamond in the ruff his furever family. He is estimated at about 2 years old, fully vetted, healthy and on the smaller side for a male cat. He has great litter box habits, isn’t picky about food. INDOOR HOMES ONLY (he has had enough of the streets). For the safety of our cats, home visits required. We make this as convenient and unobtrusive as possible. Adoption fee $50. Story
Meet our newest addition, Sonny One-Eye! This awesome guy is wearing his scar with pride because it shows what a survivor he is; and that he was meant to pull through and find his furever family! Is that you? Sonny was abandoned at a local feeding colony and was probably someone’s pet. He showed up one day with a badly damaged eye. We don’t know exactly what happened, but the eye was beyond saving and he was suffering. So one of our incredible volunteers took him in and nursed him to health. He now has a clean bill of health and is ready for his new life. He has been nothing but sweet and gentle during his healing process. He has no limitations. As you can see from his photos, this guy is a LOVE. He is so relieved to be off the streets and is looking for a safe place to lay his paws. He is social, outgoing and definitely on the chill side. His happiest life is hanging out with his person and relaxing. He has awesome litter box habits and is not picky about food. Sonny is not giving up his age, but he is estimated anywhere between 5-8 years old. If you are interested in adopting Sonny, please fill out our required application via this easy online form and someone from AAC’s Cat Adoption Team will respond quickly: https://form.jotform.com/231967731104152 INDOOR HOMES ONLY! Life on the streets was rough on this poor fellow. For the safety of our cats, home visits are also required, but we strive to make this as easy as possible. AAC takes in cats that truly have nowhere else to go but we have VERY limited space. Your adoption not only saves Sonny’s life but opens up a precious space for another cat to be saved.
