Story
Mr. Cat turned up in the backyard as a tiny kitten. We thought he was feral but he soon allowed us to pet and hold him. We kept him as an outdoor cat. He has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his vaccines. (His medical records are available). Mr. Cat and our dog don’t get along and Mr. Cat stays away from her. He has gotten along well with our backyard chickens. Recently he suffered some minor injuries, possibly from a run in with a wild animal. He was treated at the animal hospital and is staying inside until he heals completely. I have discovered that he craves affection and could happily adapt to being an indoor cat.

Story
Monty and his mother used to live in my grandmothers backyard and would come up to her porch where she would feed them. One day Monty, who at this point was still only a couple months old came up to her porch alone and sat on the railing crying out. He stayed on the porch for a few days, and would eat a little then go back to his post on the railing clearly looking for his mom. After a week of this my grandmother asked me if I would come get him because he was all alone now. I was hesitant because I already had one cat, but I came and got him. Kitty, the cat I already had, was clearly not a big fan of another cat in the house, but I hoped she would eventually accept him. They’ve lived together for about 4 years now, and Monty is in love with her, but he still gets bossed around by Kitty who is less than half his size, he’s about 17lbs now! I feel bad for him because under Kitty’s reign he has to live in fear that she’s going to jump out and get him. He is an indoor only cat now!

Story
This sweet guy is Manny. He loves me, he loves our Aussie shepherd, but he sure hates other boy cats. He is great with our female cat, but fights my 2 old males. He is very timid. He has grown up with my kids, but runs away the moment they look at him. But he will happily snuggle me as long as it’s just me and my pup. He would be such an amazing kitty for a quiet home. He would probably do best as the only cat where he can be devoted to his new parent and not have competition from other kitties. I love him and have tried to make it work for 2 years, but as my 2 older males get older - they deserve to live in peace. And Manny deserves to be the king of his own castle. I would take him back if it doesn’t work out, but hope he can find his forever home.

Special needs: senior in good health but seniors are special because they need more wellness checks and senior bloodwork. Please only adopt a senior if you are prepared for senior health issues that may come along. Midnight lost his human. Sadly, his human passed away, leaving him alone in his apartment. The family took great care of midnight until they found Fur Babies Rescue to foster him. He is a loving guy who wants lots of affection then he finds a sunny window to nap. He loves treats! He is a very easy and laid back cat once he gets comfortable on his new home. It took around a week for him to relax after getting to his foster home. His life got turned upside down and he is rolling with it now. He would love a very quiet home with his new human. He has used the litter box perfectly since arriving at his foster home. Midnight is exclusively an indoor cat. He has never been outside and would not know what to do. Please do not consider adopting him if he would be allowed outside. Apply to adopt or to become a foster home for all types of cats: Furbabiesrescue.org Midnight will get vaccine updates 2-11-25. We believe he is neutered but we will confirm that at his appointment also.
