Story
Hi my name is Bella Donna. I am about 11 yrs old and weigh about 47 lbs. I am on the shorter side, but I am strong. I am smart, and I am stubborn! But I am also very beautiful as every single person who sees me tells me that, almost like that is my second name. Bella Beautiful or Bella Bellisima! I have been in boarding for a long time, I would love to have my own comfy bed and a family to call my own. I would need a strong person, and someone who is just as stubborn or more so, than me, as I need my training to continue, if you don't remind me, then I will forget, and then I will get in trouble, as I will revert back to my puppy ways of jumping on people, and they say that is not cool. I think it is fun, but whatever, that is what they say.  I am also friendly with people, I do like some other dogs, but I prefer to have all your attention to myself. I will probably learn to like another fur sibling, but you would have to introduce me slowly, as when I was younger another dog attacked me when I was just walking by him. Can you believe that! I love to go for walks and car rides. Adoption fee: $150.00 and includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, DHPP, and microchip. To meet me, please complete an application on our website: pawprinthearts.comwww.pawprinthearts.comNovember 2, 2024, 1:27 am

Story
Tricia is a fun-loving, spayed, ~45lbs, compact bundle of joy! Tricia loves to play with other dogs, toys, and water hoses. Tricia has lived with cats and does best with confident cats. Small foster kittens are a little too exciting for her, but this is expected for such a playful pup. Tricia enjoys mental and physical enrichment including food puzzles and would make an excellent hiking or other adventure buddy. Tricia was a hit with several Tampa Bay Buccaneers players at a recent event and has never met a stranger! Tricia has only been around children briefly during events and has taken treats gently from them but may accidentally knock smaller children over. Tricia responds very well to positive reinforcement training techniques and responds to the cues sit, shake/paw, down (as in lay down), off (great to use when tempting counter treats are within sniffing range!), touch, and place. Tricia is also house trained! Tricia can sometimes get a little overwhelmed and extra excited but is easily redirected with toys and/or treats. If you're looking for a dog who will be your partner for all of your fun activities, Tricia is your girl!! Story
Meet Pea! Pea is a sweet, 2 year old terrier mix that was a deadline plea from a local shelter. When she arrived to our rescue, she had been experiencing neurological episodes that caused her to fall over, but they had no known cause as her blood work and imaging were clear. She was also heartworm positive but we couldn't begin treatment until we got to the bottom of what was going on with her medically. Luckily, Pea has shown major improvement while in foster care, and while she sometimes has balance problems, major health concerns have been ruled out. She has begun heartworm treatment and is now ready to look for her forever home. Pea is crate-trained and house-trained, and she gets along great with both dogs and cats. She wags her whole body every time you talk to her or pet her, and she really is happy all the time! Pea's ideal home would be with someone who is looking to add an extra special pup to their family. Dog and/or cat playmates would be a bonus, but all she really needs is someone to love her. Story
Maddie is a lucky gal who loves belly rubs, carrots, and attention. She can entertain herself but prefers people, cuddles, toys, and treats. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She does not mind dressing up in costumes and clothes. Maddie travels well and loves to ride in the car. She is a powerful, high-energy dog. Maddie would do best in the home of an experienced handler and without small pets or young children. She can and has lived with other larger dogs successfully but Maddie lacks confidence and can be reactive. Continued vigilance, training, and proper introductions are necessary for a positive outcome. Maddie had a rough start in life. She was in a high kill shelter on euthanasia day with her puppies when she was saved. Maddie is a fun-loving dog who will enhance your life! Story
Meet Tyson! This 7-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier is a survivor with a heart full of love. Tyson recently beat the odds after being dumped at shelter with a massive bleeding splenic tumor turned out to be benign, and he’s now finishing up heartworm treatment. Tyson is as sweet as they come – a total cuddle bug who thinks he’s a lap dog! He loves hopping on the couch for snuggles, giving kisses, and soaking up all the attention. His favorite things are his toys, and he gets so excited when you play with him. Tyson adores people (including toddlers!) but would thrive as the only dog in the home. He’s learning to take treats gently and can sometimes guard his toys, so he’ll do best with a family familiar with dog body language. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate companion to be the center of your world, Tyson is your guy!
