Story
CeCe and two other younger dogs (suspected to be two of her puppies from different litters), were found surviving outside on their own by some construction workers in rural KY. They all ended up in an animal shelter in December 2023, and while the younger two found rescue, CeCe didn't and was scheduled for euthanasia. She is in a temporary foster home now but needs to be moved ASAP. Please reach out if you can help! CeCe really loves puppies and young dogs, but is selective with other adult dogs. Currently, she is getting along well with her adult male foster brother. Another canine companion like him, who doesn't care much for playing, would be perfect! CeCe is currently in treatment for heartworm disease. She is looking for a quiet foster home OR foster-to-adopt home. Her adoption fee is WAIVED for for an approved foster-to-adopt home* If you're interested in foster-to-adopt, please submit an adoption application.   Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Pudgy is a happy go-lucky little guy! He is generally very excited to do anything but he is still learning how to play and walk on a leash. He would do well in a home with other dogs to help tire him out, he also gets along with cats but sometimes tries to play with them a little too enthusiastically so a dog-savy cat is best. He would likely do well in a home with older children but is still learning to keep four paws on the floor and has a tendency to be a little bulldozer. Pudgy is crate trained but still working on potty training. He is very food motivated and is learning how to sit and wait for his meals as well as sit patiently for his leash to be put on before being able to go outside. Pudgy is a sweet, goofy little guy and would be a great addition to most families! If you're interested in adopting Pudgy, please submit an adoption application and we'll be in touch ASAP. Pudgy has completed his vet care and cant wait to meet his forever family! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period.   Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Ginger is the epitome of unconditional love. She loves with her whole heart and only wants love and attention in return. Ginger is crate-trained and loves her puppy toy that she sleeps with every night. She is also potty trained and loves spending time outside. She does well on a leash, and also enjoys running around the yard. She follows commands, listens very well, and most of the time enjoys just lounging around. Ginger has done well with other dogs and cats, but dog-savvy cats would be best given she does get excited and wants to play with them. She has not been around kids in her foster home but would probably do best with older children as loud noises and quick movements can frighten her. Ginger is the definition of perfect and when you look into her eyes you cant help but quickly fall in love with her sweet personality. Her foster family will miss her terribly, but whoever adopts Ginger is hitting the jackpot with her. If you're interested in adopting Ginger, please submit an application. She has completed her vet care and her adoption fee is only $125. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Prime is an estimated 8-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, and has been through SO much in his year with us! From narrowly escaping a euthanasia date at a high-kill shelter, a distemper scare, surviving an awful case of kennel cough, surviving heartworm treatment, being diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, and most recently getting through a pancreatitis flare up. And while all of these milestones were terrifying, he has celebrated some pretty amazing milestones, too! In the past year, Prime has learned what it’s like to live in a home where he’s loved and cared for. He’s learned to trust his people, and how to be the best lap dog (even if he’s a bit bigger than your average lap dog). He’s learned that zooming in the yard with his canine foster sibling is the most fun, especially when you don’t have to worry about where water or your next meal is coming from. And along the way, he’s made so many friends and memories that help cancel out all the bad he has had to go through before coming to rescue. Now, we just want to find his final chapter: his forever home where he can spend his golden years. This boy is potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, people friendly, and is overall just the best boy. If you want the pleasure of adding Prime to your forever family, you can apply to adopt through the link in our bio! What’s better? His adoption fee is COMPLETELY SPONSORED! This means there is no cost to adopt for his future family!

Story
Dare is the definition of calm, cool, and collected, and wants nothing more than to lounge around with you. The real key to success to get Dare to open up? Playing with other dogs! This sweet boy LOVES playing with the other dogs in his foster home, and will run the yard with them whenever he gets the chance. But that doesn’t change his desire to snuggle up next to you at the end of the day. In addition to Dare’s love of other dogs, he also does well with children, adults, and cats! We do believe he would likely benefit from having an outgoing, confident dog in the home to help him feel comfortable and learn the ropes from. He does well in his crate after settling down, but does best in a sturdy, steel crate over the typical wire ones. Think that Dare could be the perfect dog to complete your forever family? Story
This beautiful girl is known as Peaches, and was recently saved from euthanasia at a high kill shelter. She is an approximately 2-year-old pittie mix that was brought to the shelter as a stray. She is around 75 lbs, and is heartworm negative! Shelter staff and volunteers both report she is an absolute gem of a dog, and did amazing with other dogs in their playgroups! She loved being with people, and had a playful attitude. Peaches does do best with dogs her size or larger, and needs time to slowly warm up. But after she’s had some time to decompress, she wants nothing more than to play the day away with her canine companions! She does need a home with no small dogs or cats. Peaches is now fully vetted, and is ready to find her forever home! If you are interested in showing this girl all the love she has ever deserved, you can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt. Her adoption fee is $200.

Story
Hawk is a 2.5-year-old staffie mix that came to us on the day he was set to be euthanized at Memphis Animal Services. This beautiful boy is around 70lbs, but is a short, stout guy! Despite his beefy looks, this boy is an absolute sweetheart. He absolutely loves his canine foster brother, but due to now showing too much playful interest with the resident cat, it has been decided it’s best to find him a home with no kitty friends. He does love all the people he has met, and is an absolute ham! Unfortunately, Hawk is a bit too protective of his adult humans once he bonds to them, and he needs to be in a home with no children. If you are interested in making Hawk part of your forever family, you can apply to adopt at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt. His adoption fee is $200!

Story
Rupp is VERY friendly and playful. Hes loves humans and can be very affectionate. In fact, he's quite the lap dog (in his own mind). Rupp often chooses to relax in his crate, he rides really well in cars, and he has excellent leash manners! With other dogs, he comes on a little strong, so hed do best with canine companions that like to play rough or wont be offended by that play style. We suspect that he might be able to live with cats in the future, after some serious decompression time and basic obedience training. Older children would be best suitable for Rupp. Rupp is currently living in boarding, which makes it very hard for him to attend adoption events and training sessions. He needs a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home ASAP! Rupp is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is WAIVED for an approved foster-to-adopt home*. If you're interested in foster-to-adopt, please submit an adoption application. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
My name is Daisy, I'm six years old English Bulldog mix. My foster folks say I'm the total package.I don't know what that means but I'm pretty laid-back, I love sleeping, but I also enjoy playing with my people!I know lots of words too! What I really love is a comfy couch and having someone's lap to sit on. Also, I can't ignore the food bowl - it always gets me excited and I'll do a happy dance and provide you with snorty vocals when I know it's mealtime. Despite my short and wonky legs, I'm a little tank and can keep up with my foster brother, which he doesn't always appreciate. Let's talk about this tongue that sticks out 80 percent of the time. It's really long, and I don't have really enough mouth, but it's no problem and just adds to my charm. If you make me yours, you'll get to see my adoring big eyes everyday because I am a catch! I wait patiently for my harness to go for a walk, but I only need short walks because once I'm done, you'll be stuck where you are. However I am motivated by the promise of a biscuit, and I ride in the car great. I get along well with my foster brother, but I might nip him if he is too excited or rough. I'm an alpha and may not do well with puppies or very hyper dogs. I can be growly and territorial when approaching other dogs during walks. I didn't seem interested in toys at first, but foster brother has taught me to like them. We go to the toy bin and pick out chew toys often. I love my crate and will go in on command. I often go in there on my own as I know it's my safe place. I've never had an accident inside, and I always go out to potty and come right back in. I've had limited exposure to children but did well with my foster parents' grandkids. I enjoy getting loved on, but I might step on toes because I have a solid body mass, so dog-savvy older kids might be best. I have done great when my fosters' outdoor cat comes inside. I want to sniff and follow, but nothing more than that. I might chase outdoors if given the chance. Some other things about me: I can jump quite high, despite my legs. I can jump on the bed, into a truck, and fly upstairs. I'm a very strong girl. If you're interested in adopting Daisy, please submit an application. She has completed her vet care and her adoption fee is $250. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
