Story
Beef is 3 years old. He has been with me for two years. He is a shy boy when meeting new people or other animals. He loves hiking on leash, though not the car ride to get there. He is fond of cats, sometimes a little too fond. He enjoys playing with the female dogs in the house but has recently been getting into fights with the very talkative male dog in the house. He would do best as the only dog in the house. He has noise aversion but does well with gabapentin and trazodone during fireworks and thunder storms. He likes older children but becomes very nervous around the sounds of small children due to his dislike of loud noises.

Story
Meet Ramona!  This well trained, people loving girl has been waiting for her forever home since July of 2021! Can you believe this girl has had no interest? She does well on a leash and knows her basic commands such as 'Sit' and 'Down'. With her incredible intelligence and eagerness to learn she can learn anything you throw her way! Ramona is up for any adventure! She enjoys everything from hikes, to swimming, to riding in the car, anything that will keep her active! She would love a home with a big, fully fenced yard where she can run around and play fetch. She can often be seen playing with her toys or just carrying them around her yard. Could you be the family Ramona has been waiting so long for? Call the Ranch to learn more about her today! Story
Miss Mayzie is sovereign everywhere she goes. If you were to ask us which dog here at the Ranch is easiest to love, we would probably say Mayzie! Adorable Mayzie is a gorgeous blue-nose American Staffordshire terrier who first came to us from county animal control. She is just an angel: loving, affectionate, gentle, happy, eager to please... the list goes on. Her beautiful blue coat and charming smile are the cherry on top of this sweet-as-a-sundae girl. If you are looking for a dog who will be your constant companion, a calm and affectionate family member, the friend of all your friends, a sofa lounger, and a bed hog, then look no further. Mayzie will be all that and more! Mayzie is compact but strong for her size. While leash-trained she could use some help learning not to pull and brush up on her manners. But with her desire to please her handler, training should be a simple matter. Mayzie prefers to rule the roost alone and we don't know her history with cats. We think she would do well with children. All in all, Mayzie is ready to be a fabulous, friendly addition to some lucky family. Could it be yours? Then come on down to the Ranch to meet her today! Molly May brings joy to every room she enters.  This active girl loves her people, car rides, walks, the water and most of all her ball!  She is crate/potty trained, lived with a young child and two other dogs.  Her energy is endless and will play ball until your arm falls off, but she also can relax on her bed for hours.  Molly May is very adaptable and well behaved.  If you think this girl might be your forever friend, please make arrangements to visit the ranch for a Meet and Greet.   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Otis was born in our home and has been with us his entire life. He is a very good boy, but needs a lot of attention. He does not do well with little kids because of the loud and high pitch noises. He does fine with my kitties, but I couldn’t tell you if he will do okay with other cats. He will need to be the only dog, as he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs and can be perceived as aggressive instead of playing rough. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but is very excitable and has a ton of energy. I have medical issues and am forced to move, and will not be able to keep him in my new living situation.
