Story
Onyx is a 5yr old pit bull (November birthday) weighing around 75lbs. We adopted him around 3months old from a rescue. He has never been formally trained, but can walk on leash, sit, stay, knows No, house trained. He has grown with our family and it saddens us to need to rehome him. At a young age he was in a dog fight and until recently has been great. He grumbles at our children (ages 1-4) unprovoked from time to time and recently bit a neighbors dog. The stress of constantly watching over him has become too much to handle. He truly is a love bug. All he wants to do is snuggle and give kisses. He loves running outside, playing with tennis balls, sunbathing, wrestling with daddy, hates baths and nail trims, loves snuggling under the blankets and eating ice cubes 😊 He gets along great with our older, smaller dog as well as our children, minus the grumbles. Our hope is to find him a home that he can thrive and be happy. With no other dogs. Have all his vet records to date.

Story
Can you believe this is the face of a dog that no one wanted? Sir Fredrickson was found as a stray in AL in the fall of 2024 under weight, full of worms and covered in road rash. Since then, he has fully healed physically and emotionally. Fred is an excitable love bug that enjoys going walks, car rides and chewing on bones. He has a big block head and casually throws it in any lap that will accept him for cuddles. When not getting love from hoomans (kids included) he does like playing with the resident dogs. Freds perfect home will not have cats. If you are looking for a companion to start your new year out strong, Fred is your guy! Morning alarm clock- check, accountability partner to move your body every day- check, eat less (because of course we share  )- check. He will be 2 in March and he is currently 65#. Fred is patiently waiting in Carlisle, PA and would love to meet you! Story
Will the luck of the Irish, help me find my forever soon? Hi! My name is Zeus, & I'm a ~1 year old, ~48lbs, mixed breed dog. Originally I am from Georgia, but traveled to PA in hopes of finding my forever home & a chance to be someone's best friend. I love meeting new folks & if you think we might be good friends I'd love to meet you! First, let me tell you about myself. Food is so yummy! I am really food motivated, which makes training a lot more fun. If you have a yummy treat for me, I'll sit, stay, come for you. I get scared sometimes when I am alone, & foster dad says I still need some work on my puppy manners, but I got this potty training thing down! I also learned that cars are so much fun! It doesn't matter where we go, but I am always excited to sit in the back & go for a ride with my humans. The best home for me, would not have cats. I play well with other dogs, but can be a little rough. Running and wrestling other doggy friends gets me so excited. Human kids are great to cuddle and play with as well. I know they just little, and I love running on the playground with them. As much as I like playing outside, cuddling humans is my other favorite thing to do. My foster mom says I can be a jealous boy sometimes & but I just love to feel like I'm a part of the pack. Currently, I am living with my foster family in Mountville, Pa. It's just right outside Lancaster. Oh and I am already neutered and microchipped. You won't have to ever worry about losing me. So are you interested in adding another member to your family? Please, fill out an application and schedule a meet and greet! I would very much want to find my forever home soon. Story
Meet Ms. Eddie! This sweet 1-year-old, 56-pound mixed breed traveled from Georgia to Pennsylvania in search of her forever home. With her stunning gray eyes and affectionate personality, she’s sure to steal your heart! Ms. Eddie is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and loves to snuggle. She’s still working on not jumping for attention-she just has so much love to share! Now that she’s settled into her foster home, she’s potty trained and has picked up on the routine quickly. She’s a social butterfly who loves dogs, is cat-friendly (she even gives them kisses!), and is great with kids. She enjoys car rides and needs plenty of bones and chews to keep her busy. She also has a playful side—she loves stuffed toys, though they don’t tend to last long in her care! Ms. Eddie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and is heart-worm negative. Apply today at  www.pack9rescue.org  or request your meet and greet if already pre-approved! Ms. Eddie is being fostered in New Bloomfield, PA.
