Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Bluebell - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Love (v), a very strong affection, intense feelings of devotion and compassion...see also American Staffy I was named after the Bluebell flower which symbolizes gratitude and humility. Wow that's a mighty big name to live up to, but I'm up for the challenge as I'd be forever grateful to know a loving home and I can be very modest about having all that love heaped on me. And of course, you also have Bluebell Ice Cream which is a cool delicious sweet treat. Oh my, yep, I'm definitely named after the ice cream!! Wow, pretty as a flower and sweet as ice cream. That is a mighty big win win! At around 3 years and coming in at around 63lbs, I'm a good size gal but don't worry that just means they is more of me to put a whole lot of lovins on you. I don't know about you but I find that a pretty good win for both of us too!! I am a very affectionate gal that loves loves loves my people.. both tall and small. I'm super laidback and calm, just going with the flow, enjoying my people time that includes lots of cuddles. I also do great with other pups and love my outings especially when I get to go visit all my friends (both 2 and 4 legged) at the doggie park or at doggie daycare. What can I say, I make friends with everyone, everywhere I go!!!! I love getting attention, sunbathing, car rides, going for walks, my spa days and to top it all off, I'm house trained too. Now that's another winning combination!! My breed are known for their affectionate, loving nature and are also low in grooming maintenance. Just a quick bath, brush and nail trim and I'm ready to go!! I would make great company for someone that works from home or who is retired. With my friendly nature and calm ways I'd even be a great first time pet parent pup!! Loving, housetrained, good with the kiddos, good with other dogs, cuddly... WOW! I'm all that wrapped up in one big package. The only thing missing is YOU, but we can fix that easily , just stop what you're doing and fill out my adoption application and I'll be happy to take it from there!!

"Hello, my name is Cash, and I am a 2-year-old pup and come in at around 55ish lbs! I had been thrown out of a truck and received a nasty gash on my head. A couple of stitches and a lot of love later has me right as rain now! But even that hasn't changed my trusting and affectionate nature. I am your typical playful, affectionate, and friendly pooch, and I am a total velcro dog - I'll stick by your side through thick and thin! And that means....no more ever having to go anywhere (even that bathroom) by yourself!! I am a loving cuddle bug who loves my balls, ropes and especially those toys that go squeak, my doggy friends, my humans, and car rides. I am good on a leash and I love treats, so I am very easy to train. I'm even already house trained! I am an all-around great pup just looking for my fur-ever home. Maybe, just maybe it could be with YOU?!!!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Dunkin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey there! I'm Dunkin, your future best friend and professional cuddle expert. At the ripe age of 2 1/2, I've mastered the art of being the ultimate companion. My resume includes top-notch skills in napping, fetching, and giving unconditional love. Let's dive into the deets, shall we? Who's a Good Boy? I Am! First things first, I'm on a gourmet diet of Purina Chicken & Rice—only the best for this furball. I'm super friendly with humans (big and small), other dogs, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. Yes, I'm a social butterfly! Indoor or Outdoor? I Love 'Em Both! Whether we're chilling indoors or exploring the great outdoors, I'm all in. I'm a true indoor/outdoor enthusiast. Fancy a hike? I'm your guy. More of a homebody? I'll snuggle up right next to you. And yes, I'm crate trained too, so no worries there! Cuddle Bug Extraordinaire I'm not just any regular dog; I'm a cuddle bug deluxe edition. I love naps more than a squirrel loves nuts. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy during those lazy Sunday afternoons, look no further. Dunkin is here to stay! Adventures and Playtime? Count Me In! I'm an avid hiker, a swimming champ, and a fetch pro. But, let's be real, I do have a tiny quirk—I'm not a fan of those rolling beasts called shopping carts, and loud noises and new places can be a bit spooky. But give me a little time to adjust, and I'll be the life of the party, showing off my happy, playful, and downright silly side. A Little Love Goes a Long Way!! I love rubbing up against my favorite humans (and yes, furniture too—I don't discriminate). I'm a laid-back lap dog at heart, not high strung at all. My main goal? To find a loving home where I can avoid the shelter life and be part of a family that adores me as much as I'll adore them. So, what do you say? Ready to add a sprinkle of Dunkin to your life? Let's make every day brighter...together!! Fill out my adoption application and let's start our forever friendship!

**WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. YOU MUST CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. PLEASE LEAVE US A VOICEMAIL IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REACH US. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.- CCDP STAFF** Hi there. My name is Albus. I'm about 1-2 years old and I weigh about 66 lbs. I was found as a stray on Depot Road between the Guilford lake and Salem areas and I was brought into the pound. I have been an extremely sweet boy since my arrival here at the pound. I am very affectionate and lovey with people. I have been good with the other dogs I've met here and I even did well around the cat. I do seem to have a bit of separation anxiety and would likely need to be kept in a heavy duty crate while you're away to keep both me and your belongings safe. I do great in my kennel here, though. I am not destructive with my bed or blankets and I do a great job keeping it clean. I do test anywhere I'm put and can escape the play yards here, but when I do it is because I want to be with people. I am easily caught and I am just fine going back to my kennel or for a nice walk with you. I would make a wonderful companion for a family that is home a lot. If you're looking for a great dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $152. We accept cash, check or credit/ debit cards for adoption fees. If you pay using a credit or debit card, a convenience fee of 2.39% will also be applied. If paying by check, you will need 2. One Check will be for the dog license, and one will be for your dog's adoption fee, which includes heartworm testing (for dogs 6 months of age old and older), parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 3 days of panacur de-wormer, spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and a current Ohio dog license. We DO offer foster to adopt. (We will NOT accept cash for foster to adopt). We highly recommend you do a foster to adopt with your new dog if you are not 100% sure your new dog is going to work out in your home. Foster to adopt gives you a couple of weeks with the dog to make sure they are a good fit with your family before your payment is processed and the adoption is finalized. ALL DOGS/PUPPIES WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED unless a health issue prohibits the surgery from being performed. Not all dogs posted for adoption are spayed/ neutered yet. If you're driving a long distance to adopt, please verify that the vetting process has been completed and dog you're interested in adopting is still available for adoption. The above mentioned vetting is all included in your adoption fee. The adoption fee and what is included in the adoption fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Adoptions MUST be done at the pound and in person as there is paperwork to fill out and an adoption contract that must be signed by the adopter. This means you must be willing to travel to our shelter to adopt. If the dog you're interested in adopting has medical conditions or injuries which require medical treatment, we ask that you help with the medical bills, in addition to their adoption fee if possible so we can continue to help the dogs coming in who need additional vet care. We are a county run shelter, therefore we cannot control our intake or the health or behavior of the dogs that come in to our shelter. Although we try our hardest to place all of our adoptable dogs, there are certain circumstances in which any dog in our care could be euthanized at any time and without further notice (IE: sudden untreatable medical condition or injury, temperament or behavioral problems which may not be apparent when the dog first arrives, etc.), therefore all dogs at our shelter should be considered urgent. We try our absolute hardest to never have to euthanize for space and have not had to do so for many years thanks to the ongoing support from the public and high adoption rates. Please remember; the adoption of a more highly adoptable dog will mean more time for the less adoptable dog in the kennel next to him! Shelter hours are Monday-Friday: 8 am- 4 pm. Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 8 am - 12 pm. Adoptions are always welcome any day of the week/ weekend and on holidays. We are here everyday to care for the dogs and the best way to make our day is to see our dogs go to loving families. There is nobody in the office on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, so therefore, we are unable to answer or return phone calls over the weekend. We are only staffed to take care of the dogs and do adoptions over the weekends/ on holidays. Can't adopt a dog? We would love to have more volunteers who are able to spend time with our dogs! The dogs LOVE going for walks and the socialization and exercise helps make the dogs more adoptable. Story
Get ready to meet the newest combo meal sensation, brought to you by McDonald's... Oops, we mean McDaddy and his sister wives, McMuffin and McFlurry! These delightful pups were discovered living in a McDonald's drive-thru, where they'd been flipping tails for months. The good news? One of the sister wives, McFlurry, has already found her forever home and is loving life! But the McDaddy-McMuffin duo is still awaiting their perfect match, whether that means together or apart. What's the secret sauce to their happiness? Well, these two definitely need another canine companion to keep those tails wagging! Let's meet the star of the show, McDaddy! He's a sweet, middle-aged guy with a low-energy vibe. He enjoys leisurely strolls through the yard, cozy couch naps, and most of all, he loves chilling in his crate while keeping a watchful eye on the house. McDaddy is a people lover, but he's not so keen on the little ones-they make him a bit nervous. However, when it comes to other dogs, he's a real team player, and those pesky cats? Well, he's too smart to bother with them. He's diligently working on his housetraining manners and wears a fancy belly band until he's mastered it all. But for a former drive-thru aficionado, he's adjusting beautifully to the cozy comforts of home life, complete with his very own spot and foster humans who adore him for exactly who he is! With a heart full of gratitude for his newfound safety, regular meals, and understanding and loving people, McDaddy is more than ready for his forever companion, whether it's a friend for your dog or a package deal with his lovely sister, McMuffin. So, if you're ready to add a dash of love and happiness to your life, don't leave McDaddy at the drive-thru! Swing by and let him be the perfect addition to your family. And don't forget to check out his stunning sister, McMuffin-she's head over paws for her foster home too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Meet the incredible Izzy, although she's also known as Samantha, a true American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as the open plains. Izzy's journey hasn't been the easiest, but her unwavering love and loyalty shine bright. With eyes that sparkle like stars, Izzy is the kind of companion that makes every car ride an adventure. She loves hopping in and taking her spot in the backseat, right between her favorite humans, ready to share the road with you. She's a cuddle enthusiast, known to flop down next to you just to feel close and get her fair share of affection. Izzy is well-behaved and knows the importance of a schedule, making potty breaks a breeze. She's kennel trained, but her curious nature and intelligence can sometimes turn her into a bit of an escape artist. She's full of love and a big fan of chew toys, treats, and special puppucinos to celebrate the good times. However, she does get nervous if left alone for too long, stemming from her early days when she waited by a ditch until kind humans came to her rescue. Izzy's heart overflows with love for her people, but she's still working on building trust with male figures due to her past experiences. She's not only great with other dogs, often rolling around in the grass, but she can also tolerate feline friends. However, her feelings towards other cats are unpredictable. And beware, she has a knack for letting everyone know when it's her turn for a potty break with her unique, loud cry. While she's an excellent leash walker, her excitement sometimes gets the best of her, leading her to try and take the lead. But with the right training and a bit more time, she's sure to overcome this small quirk. Izzy is a remarkable girl, full of love and a testament to the resilience of animals. If you're seeking a loyal and loving companion who's come a long way, Izzy is the one for you. She's more than just a dog; she's a treasured family member waiting for her forever home. Are you ready to welcome her into your heart and home? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
