Meet Beef Cake! Beef Cake was originally found trying to stay alive by eating trash in a field. It was also discovered he had been hit by a car and had a broken leg. Despite Beef Cake’s rough situation and injury, he is still such a happy fun loving boy, ready to live his best life and be your wingman.Beef Cake is 4 years old, neutered, and 55lbs. Beef Cake is a handsome, intelligent Staffordshire Terrier Mix. He looks forward to living with someone who loves to go on long walks and keep his active mind engaged. Beef Cake is very personable and loves to be with people, including kids. He is sweet and eager to please. He knows several commands such as Sit, and Crate Up, and is walking very well on a leash. He also takes his treats gently.Beef Cake has vibrant brindle spots on his coat, and his ears flop in the cutest way. This Happy Boy is a delight and would love a forever home. While he is friendly with everyone, he seems to really gravitate towards men. He is strong, and we are actively working on his leash skills which is paying off in spades. Beef Cake loves to be with people and is a true gentleman on car rides. Meet Missy! Missy was a Fort Worth Shelter last call doggo who had just been spayed while she was pregnant and had pneumonia, but has made a full recovery! She has had some trauma prior to being rescued, so she is very shy and scares easily. Once she knows you’re safe, she is the sweetest and most well behaved dog! She listens well, walks great on a leash, and is very polite around people and animals. She lives with a cat right now and does well with them. Cats may not be on her list of besties, but she tolerates them and mostly just ignores them. Missy has Pyrenees guardian instincts, and her favorite thing to do is sit in the backyard on her koolero and alert the family if she finds something is amiss! She would love to find a family with a big yard for her to spend time in. She is dog door trained. Going for walks is the greatest joy in her life, so she will need a family that can commit to consistently providing her with some walking time. She does well with kids, but would probably do better in a house with older kids as she scares easily by loud noises and sudden movements. Missy has done a fantastic job building her confidence over the past year, so she would do best in a home with another dog to help her continue to be confident. Meet Sarabi!Sarabi is a 3 year old Bully mix. Don’t let her tough girl looks fool you, this girl is as loving and friendly as they come. Sarabi is a loyal house hippo ready to snuggle her way into your heart and maybe your couch if it is allowed. She’s kid friendly, cat friendly, and dog friendly. She’s house trained and crate trained but does well left out of a crate for short periods of time. Her calm demeanor and love of all people mean you can take her literally anywhere. From visits to coffee shops and restaurants to doctor’s offices, her good behavior will shine. She’d love to become an emotional support dog and go everywhere with you as your devoted companion.She’s a silly girl that will always put a smile on your face. Give her a little boost and she’ll be happy to go for a drive near or far. She loves her daily walks and is polite to all animals and people she walks by. The way you know she loves you is simple. She’ll roll over and show off her hippopotamus belly and giggle snort with glee.Sarabi has a quiet strength and calm about her that hints at her hard traumatic past. After living as an emaciated stray covered in open sores on her feet, she was “chemical captured” (darted) by Animal Control and suffered injury from the dart.One eye and jowl has a little droop as a reminder from this injury. She was scheduled to be euthanized and the shelter staff advocated for her to live. So Saving Hope rescued her and covered the cost to get her medically stable. Sarabi still struggles with some alopecia (bald spots) and skin allergies that cause her itching. She combats this with daily dose of Benadryl and a chicken and soy/corn free diet. This girl hasn’t had an easy life. She originally came into the local shelter from a home where the woman was being abused by the man. It left a lasting impression on Diva and all of these years later she still doesn’t like men. She’s a petite pittie, around 50 pounds, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, house-trained, and crate-trained. She has done well with other large dogs and puppies. She would do best in a home with experienced handlers and a patient man willing to put in the time and effort into earning her trust. She has learned to trust some men in the past but it takes several months. Once you know diva and she knows you, it’s impossible to not love her. You will find her sprawled out, belly up on the bed or sunbathing in the backyard. Life hasn’t been fair, but Diva is smiling anyways☀️😁.
