Story
Nookie was rescued from Tucson, AZ and is estimated to be around 5 years old. He loves food, playing tug, being chased, sun bathing, and cuddling with pillows and blankets. He loves going to dog parks and going for walks. He is an average energy dog. Nookie is housebroken, kennel-trained, and knows many commands like: sit, lay down, backup, speak, "I love you," paw, wait, bed, excuse me, get out, up, off, etc. Nookie is a very independent dog and keeps to himself. He only likes to cuddle the people he knows. He has a hard time around kids, strangers on leash, groomers, and vets. Nookie would do best in an adult only home where he gets regular walks and would do well with another dog in the home. He needs a new home by April 1st due to moving otherwise he will have to surrendered to a shelter.

Story
Ben Sarge AKA hunny bear. Its been 3 years since posted this wonderful dog. He is going to be 4 in April 4th. We have kept him in an apartment all this time. Having been raised by 3 adults and 4 young girls almost teens now. He is Lab/blue heeler and is weighing over 120 lbs. Very energetic and loves outdoors especially the cold weather. Loves to run in a open field, jumps out at kids and wants to wrestle with you on ground. Loves ropes, squeekie toys but his favorite is balls all sizes. He does run very fast and has no manners and can run you over. He still pulls on lease and we are working on pulling, jumping, manners and his weight but especially on socializing with all dogs and men. Raised by all females has a bit of a problem with men. Also has separation anxiety so we never leave him alone coz he barks really loud, scratches door, windows and blinds. He tends to cry for about 15 to 20 min before settles down and sleeps. I am elderly at 71 years old and cannot walk him anymore.

Story
We found Bucky wondering the streets about a year ago. Vet says he's about 6 or 7 years old, possibly older, although he has a very puppy-like personality. He seems to have some kind of slight trauma from something that happened before we found him. He's a very sweet and loving boy. He likes to cuddle a lot. He also likes to play keep away with just about anything. We're looking for someone who has the time and energy to give him all the loving and playtime that he needs and who is willing to cuddle up with him anywhere, anytime.

Story
Dusty is a very sweet, very lazy couch potato. He loves cuddling up, he likes short walks and absolutely adores chewing on bones. He has one functioning eye, the other never formed, so he is partially blind. Because of this and the fact that he is a rescue, he is reactive towards dogs and can be towards humans. Although he has never bitten a dog or person, he will lunge and snap at dogs, and so he is best served by someone who has a private backyard or space for him. Other than this, he is the perfect dog. He is so so so sweet, and would do well as a protection or family dog. He likes kids and does well in a family dynamic where he can shine as a caretaker. He is very patient and extremely loyal. But due to his reactiveness with strangers and other dogs he needs to be a household dog that doesn’t socialize much, etc.
