Story
CAPTAIN IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED! Meet Captain, affectionately known as “Cap!” He has the biggest heart, a very calm demeanor, and always looks at you with a smile on his face. Despite being calm, he loves playing, especially with others. He is the cutest when he gets a toy and trots away in another room to hide it. Cap LOVES hugs and cuddles; his favorite place to be is wherever you are. Cap is a very quiet boy and rarely barks. He’s very intuitive and sensitive to your tone of voice, and loves to be talked to. Cap is working on his basic commands, as well as not needing to be the center of attention. He jumps right into the tub for baths and falls asleep while trimming his nails. He also LOVES car rides and falls asleep almost immediately. Clearly, Cap loves his sleep! He is house and doggy-door trained and great on the leash. He gets a lot of kennel anxiety, but does great free-roaming in the house. He lives with his three foster sisters and walked right in as one of the pack with no issues. He would be best with no cats as he has tried to chase after ones he has seen outside. Cap is about 2 years old, 45 pounds of mostly muscle, and on the shorter side. Captain is ready to be your Sunday afternoon napping buddy! He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Captain up north to his new family.
