Story
Luna (A137192) is a 5-year-old Maine coon mix who weighed 10.75 lbs at intake!03/13/25 Sweet Luna and Binx are back at the shelter due to no fault of their own. Their adoptive owner felt that they would appreciate a home where their people are home more often to interact and play with them. Binx was described as the more outgoing one of the duo but both were stated to be friendly and affectionate cats! In their most recent home, they were not exposed to other animals. They were known to jump on counters and enjoyed hanging out in their cat tree! Both Luna and Binx used their litterbox well in the home as well! If you are interested in meeting Luna and Binx, please let us know! 01/11/25 This big girl is Luna! She arrived at the shelter with her father Binx, and they are hoping to find a new home together, as they are very bonded to each other. We promise Luna is a happy girl, she just doesn't photograph well! These kitties were said to do well with strangers and other cats. They have only ever lived with a small dog that minded her own business, so please use caution if planning to introduce them to any other dogs. They have not been around children or babies. They were said to be gentle when playing and generally affectionate, sweet kitties. We have noticed that Luna is quite a bit more shy than Binx, but that is not saying much because Binx is a social butterfly! Both of these kitties have been declawed, so they should strictly be kept as indoor cats. Potential adopters should be prepared to discuss the implications of this with their veterinarian. As far as we can tell, their front paws do not seem painful, but they may do best with a softer pelleted litter. If you are interested in meeting this father-daughter pair, please give the shelter a call!March 14, 2025, 11:25 pm
