Story
No Boo Boos with this Yogi Bear... While he may be almost as large as the average bear, he might fit perfectly into your life. His breed does like to wander, so we recommend a solidly fenced yard and a home with warm-hearted people who will recognize what an extraordinary dog Yogi is, and give him all the love and attention he deserves. While not (yet) a confident vehicle road tripper, he recently joined two Placer SPCA volunteers for very successful outing to their home. They shared, "He was the perfect family guest, gentle, polite and very loving. Given the choice to roam the back yard or stay inside near his people - he chose to stay inside - most often laying down next to, or up against us. Two-paws-on seemed to be his motto... if he could put a paw, or usually two on your arm for comfort, he would. If he was not sharing a couch, he was at your feet, or in some cases laying ON your feet so he could be right there with you. He is a dog that loves to be close, and as soft and fluffy as he is, that should certainly be no sacrifice on your part to let him be." Yogi Bear finds livestock a little too exciting, so he is required not to go to a home where they are present. He can be selective with other dogs, especially male dogs, so a slow introduction with any resident dogs is very important. A dog introduction with any resident dogs will be required prior to adoption. We also don't think he would enjoy dog park. We are also requiring that any children in his new home are age 10 or older. Come meet Yogi Bear today!Adoption Fee: $150Monthly Promotion Applies.

Story
Meet Nyx, a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Her sweet demeanor shines through her shy exterior, winning over everyone she meets. Nyx is independent, content with her own company, but also cherishes companionship. Her loyalty is unwavering, a testament to her loving nature. Nyx may need a little time to warm up, but once she does, she's a friend for life. She loves a good game of fetch, followed by a cozy nap. She's also a fast learner, always eager to please. Nyx would make a wonderful addition to any family, providing unconditional love and loyalty. Her sweet nature and independent spirit make her the perfect companion for those looking for a low-maintenance, high-love pet. With Nyx, you're not just adopting a pet, you're gaining a loyal friend. Nyx can be shy around new people, so we are requiring that any children in her new home are age 5 or older so they can understand her needs. She may do well with other dogs in her new home after a slow introduction. Nyx does not like the company of cats, she she is required to go to a cat-free home. He is currently located on a working ranch, but has figured out how to escape as people come and go through the electric gate. He's great with other dogs (but funnily enough is teaching THEM to escape), so again, that escape-proof yard is needed. He's also great with kids, but no cats, please. He's very smart and would benefit from the attention through training. If you have it in your heart to take on the biggest heart out there, fill out an app for Jackson!August 19, 2024, 7:59 pm

*Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*  Rey is a sweet girl looking for her forever family. Rey is about 1 year old and full of love. Rey is a Belgian Malinois and would do best in a home familiar with the breed. She loves everyone she meets, though she can sometimes have a hard time containing her excitement! Rey has been around other dogs and did ok with them. We are not sure about cats but feel she could be fine. She is mostly housetrained though does have the occasional accident if we wait too long between taking her out.  *Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*      All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. **COURTESY POST****THIS IS A COURTESY POST, THE DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE REACH OUT TO NERCY at nercybasulto@gmail.com** Freya is an incredibly sweet and special girl, and we are hopeful that the next family who welcomes her into their home will appreciate all the wonderful qualities she possesses. She is a well-trained companion who excels in following commands with grace and obedience. Freya responds promptly to cues such as 'off' to drop items gently, 'down' before meals, and 'free' for outdoor adventures. Her ability to stay in place until given the signal to move shows her patience and eagerness to please. She is also crate, potty trained, loose leash walking, able to heal and come on command. With over $4k invested in her training, Freya has become a well-behaved and attentive companion who is eager to learn and engage with her new family. She thrives on positive reinforcement, enjoys water play, and delights in receiving affection. Her energy and enthusiasm are a testament to her youth and breed, making her an ideal match for an owner who can provide ample exercise and playtime. While she may do best as the only pet in the household to receive the attention she deserves, Freya's potential shines brightest in a loving and dedicated home environment. Her training with Hardline K9 has equipped her with the skills to adapt and flourish in a new setting. If you have any questions about her training or care, please feel free to reach out to her trainers at Hardline K9. Freya is a gem waiting to bring joy and companionship to her forever family.
