Story
Alfie is the sweetest, most loyal boy you’ll ever meet. He’s a true people lover and has a blast playing with his foster siblings outside. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, chewing on his favorite toy, or going for a long walk, Alfie’s got a zest for life and enjoys every moment. He’s crate-trained and sleeps soundly at night. Alfie is doing great with potty training and is highly food-motivated, which helps him learn quickly. He’s also a bit of a chatterbox, but he’s been an excellent student, especially when it comes to calming down for mealtime in his crate. Although he’s a big boy with plenty of puppy energy, Alfie is a velcro pup who loves being close to his people. He’s still learning not to jump up, so he may do best in a home with older children or adults. Alfie is also adjusting to life with pup siblings, learning to share and be mindful of resources. Because of this, he might do best as an only dog or with a family committed to continuing his training. Alfie is all about showing love and affection, and he’s going to make the most devoted and loving companion for his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate dog, Alfie is the one! ##2295782##

Story
Hey there, future best friend! My name’s Sandler, and I’m your typical sweet, goofy pup! I LOVE making my humans happy and will do just about anything for praise (and, okay, maybe a treat or two). I’m super loyal and sometimes a little protective, but mostly, I just want to be by your side. I’m already crate-trained, and I’m working hard on this whole potty-training thing. Right now, I’ll sit by the door when I need to go, but I haven’t quite figured out how to tell you yet—so I still need someone to keep an eye on me and help me learn! Now, full disclosure... I don’t always realize how big I am, and personal space? Never heard of it. I might accidentally plop down on your lap like I’m a tiny puppy (which, let's be real, I am at heart). Oh, and I’ve got a habit of jumping up to see what’s cooking on the counter—what if I miss something delicious?! My humans are helping me learn that’s not okay, so I’ll need someone to keep up my training. Walking on a leash? I’m still figuring it out. Right now, I’ve got this whole fun zig-zag thing going on, but I’m learning with a slip lead! I love other dogs, but sometimes I get confused when they tell me “no” (boundaries are hard, okay?). Because I take my food very seriously, I eat in my crate to keep things fair. I’m cool with sharing toys, bones, and treats, though! I’d do best in a home with a submissive female dog who won’t challenge me at mealtime. Also, no young kids, please—I need an experienced human who understands my quirks and can help me be my best self! Now, here’s the important stuff: I NEED structure, consistency, and a lot of patience. I can’t just go to any home—I need someone who truly understands dogs like me. I also have a little separation anxiety, so I’d be happiest with someone who works from home or can take me to the office. I just want to be near my people as much as possible! I haven’t met a cat yet, but I don’t seem to have that "must-chase-small-fluffy-things" instinct. Oh, and did I mention I love car rides and hanging out on patios? If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, slightly clumsy adventure buddy—and you’ve got the experience to help me thrive—I’m your guy! Can’t wait to meet you! Love,Sandler ##2295783##
