Here is a sweet boy who is doing well in a foster home. He is house trained with a doggy door but will need to be taught a different routine if there is no door. He does well with cats and other dogs. He does like to jump so small kids will need to be careful. He must be kept busy as he does like to chew and have things to do. He does appreciate sleeping on a human bed but is fine on a dog bed also. He does well on a leash and on car rides. He is just a big sweet boy who is needing a family who can keep him occupied (farm, walks, outdoor activities, etc....) He just wants his forever family and we know there's one out there. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Myla was adopted but had to be brought back due to a new landlord's rule on no dogs. She is a sweet girl who does love a large yard to roam and explore. She does play with other dogs and does well with cats. She has not been around small children but did okay with older kids. She was house trained with a dog door but does like to hang outside. She is just a great gal to have around for yard protection and outside fun. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Meet Kirby.... What a Big Goofy Boy This big boy was recently pulled from a high kill shelter in Mississippi. We received a call from a rescue partner that was pulling a bunch of pups from this overcrowded shelter. We of course jumped in and took ownership of 2 pups. Kirby is a 4 month old mixed breed pup. We think Anatolian Shepherd / Australian Shepherd or possibly Great Pyrenees mix. We do know that he is a silly and goofy guy. Her is a big mush, who loves to climb in your lap and kiss you to death. He loves toys.... and of course other dogs. He gets along great with big and small dogs. Kirby will be perfect with kids too, but with his size, he will knock over some toddlers. Kirby weighs around 20 pounds. We estimate his full growth weight to be 70+.. If your looking for a big lap dog, look no further... He is using a wee wee pad for potty training. Meet Thelma! Thelma is a 1 to 2-year-old 57-pound Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Sheperd mix. Thelma is as sweet as she is beautiful. Thelma does great in a crate and on a leash. She is good with all children big and small and every dog she meets. Thelma's favorite thing to do is romp around with her doggy friends! She is very smart, eager to learn, and very treat motivated. Thelma had blood work at her recent vet visit. Interested in becoming a forever home for Thelma? For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Mani is a gentle and calm dog who loves walks, is good on leash and loves to cuddle on the couch. Mani has found a temporary foster home with other dogs and a cat and is doing wonderfully with them. She does have an old injury to her front leg. It healed long ago and so far vets seem to agree that it doesn't bother her to walk. She may tire out if she plays too hard though. She does have some separation anxiety and may bark if left alone too long. Age: 1 year Weight: 50 lb Temperament: Doing well with dogs and resident cat. Training: Housetrained, crate trained .
