Story
Ricardo is a young Antolian Shepherd mix. He weighs about 70 lbs. He is a great dog. He loves kids and all humans. He is good with dogs but can be selective with males. Ricardo was found running the streets of Philly and ended up in a high intake shelter because another rescue was negligent in placing him in a home and never checked out the "adopter" very well. We got the call that he was in the shelter and because our microchip was planted we reclaimed Ricardo. He has been in a foster home with a close friend and also board member. He has been really good with the kids in the home, he has been also been good with the other dogs but can be selective with the male dogs in the home. He has done well with the one male pittie in the home. He hates the cats. He loves to be outside and fights to come inside. Ricardo loves the water and will lay in the baby pool and soak. He also loves to share the bed but he hogs most of the bed ##1734780##

Story
adoption donation $599 weight: 45 lbs Age: 2 years     Precious lives up to her name. She is a sweet and friendly dog who loves to run and play. Precious has been with the rescue for quite a while, she was treated for heartworm, but is negative now. She gets very excited when people visit, she would absolutely love a family of her own where she can play with other dogs.         Precious is an active girl, her tail is always wagging and she always looks like she’s smiling!  She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is housebroken but like any rescue dog she may need some guidance says she adjust to a new home.    We really aren’t sure of her breed, she seems to have some shepherd and maybe some Shibu Inu, when we put her pictures into a Dog Scanner app she comes up with all sorts of breeds  most of which we’ve never heard of! What we do know is that Precious is a really awesome dog!     Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter.   For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  August 19, 2024, 7:04 am

Story
This gal and her siblings were found in the woods. They are a sweet group of pups who will grow into wonderful dogs. Being part Anatolian Shepherd (we think) means they need some room to roam. They are typically laid back with wonderful personalities that get along with just about anything. They just need something to do. So lots of activity, walks and/or a farm. We just want these babies to find a great home with families who will love them and take care of their needs. Indy is a friendly girl who likes everybody! She is always happy to see people, likes to play with the other puppies. She will need all the training that puppies need but will learn fast. Routines help a lot. We know the right family is out there for these babies. She is fostered in TN but we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please note: Our beautiful Joy does require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, no chain-link or split rail.    Meet Joy, my lovely, sweet, loving girl Joy Her 'Meet Your Match' designation is: Teacher’s Pet -   I’ve got the whole package — smart, four legs, love to learn, and live to please. Go ahead, teach me anything. Sit, stay, and balance your checkbook, I can do it all. Keep me entertained and I’ll be yours forever.    Joy lives up to her name as she is always joyful, so very happy that now she lives with people who love her & now she feels safe. She had litter after litter in WV & I would say her previous life was that of pure neglect. She is about young & about 60 lbs (she's gained 10 lbs since she joined the rescue) & I have her listed as a Lab/Antalion Sheperd mix. Her coat has so many shades of gold & yellow, she is really stunning, expecially in the sun!    When it comes to people, she's indiscriminate with her affection. Joy doesn't believe in strangers, she's ready to shower everyone with love. I love how when you are close, she leans into you gently, offering a soulful gaze of absolute adoration. She is also very intelligent, it seems that when I look at her sometimes I can see her thinking!    This tall, lanky and I think very regal looking young lady is a bundle of love wrapped in a desire for attention. With her keen senses, she thoroughly enjoys walks where she can indulge in the various scents around her. Her trust, which is quickly earned, is as solid as a rock, and with it, she's game to explore and try out anything.   If you're looking for a loyal companion who looks at you like you're the center of her universe and is eager to be a part of every adventure, then Joy is the young girl for you! Don't miss a chance to make Joy a part of your family. Read our adoption requirements & if you can meet them you can apply for her right here at our website. Come & meet her and get ready to be greeted with boundless enthusiasm and love!       We accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and All Credit Cards for the adoption fee.      About LNF Dogs/Puppies: All dogs and puppies have undergone temperament testing. They live in foster homes. They are housebroken (puppies are paper-trained) and crate trained. They have been microchipped for identification purposes. They have been tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease. Each dog is on year-round Heartworm medication while in the rescue's care. They are up-to-date with Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines. They have been de-wormed. Adoption Fee: The adoption fee includes 30 days of FREE pet insurance, with an option to purchase additional coverage. The rescue strives to provide the best medical care to ensure the health of the dogs, including spaying or neutering. Adoption Requirements: A minimum physical fence of 4 feet in height is mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence, as noted in their profiles. Electric fences are not accepted under any circumstances. These requirements and procedures are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the adopted dogs and to provide potential adopters with healthy and well-cared-for pets. It's important for anyone interested in adopting from this rescue organization to meet these criteria and provide a suitable and safe environment for the dogs.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 9, 2024, 12:09 am
