URGENT: Can you help me catch my FREEDOM RIDE? I am currently in Texas awaiting my freedom ride to Wisconsin, but I need a FOSTER home or an ADOPTIVE home by JANUARY 18, 2025 to make the trip. Not all pups are lucky enough to get out but, with your help, I may just have that chance!
Can YOU help me get to Wisconsin? Please apply online: www.HBWI.org.
Meet Jessie Jo, a 1.5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart to match her size! Recently pulled from a high-kill shelter in Texas, Jessie Jo is ready to leave her past behind and find a family who will appreciate her gentle, loving nature.
Jessie Jo is great with other dogs and loves kids. While she hasn’t met cats yet, we think she’ll do just fine with them, given her calm and easygoing temperament. She’s settling into her Texas foster home but is more than ready for her forever family in Wisconsin.
Jessie Jo has a freedom ride to Wisconsin on January 18, 2025—but she needs an approved FOSTER or ADOPTER to make the trip. Can you be the one to rewrite Jessie Jo’s story? Apply today! www.HBWI.org/adopt
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
