Nellie-Poodle/Australian Shepard female puppy, ~ 12 mo. (Dec. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application Nelly came to rescue recently after being evaluated to be a Service Dog. She's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. Do to loud noises bothering her, she has been deemed for a pet/companion home, versus a working dog. The trainer says she has a sweet temperment She is housetrained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with her inmate trainer. She's had basic obedience. She learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. She rides well in a crate in the car and ready to learn more. She has not met cats, but doesn't have the personality to bother them. She's met some smaller children, but has not lived with them. She is a medium girl, about 25# at this time. Mostly grown. Nellie's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. It’s an Aussie trait At Lexington Women’s Prison

A Trainer saved her and brought her into her Prison Training Program. Lexus has been learning basic obedience, house training, social skills and so much more. It's been decided that Lexus will be happiest as a family pet. She's ready to be 'home for Christmas'. Lexus adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. The trainer says he has a good temperament and made so many good strides, having had a rough start in life. He is house trained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with his inmate trainer. He's had basic obedience. He learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. Rambo is good with other dogs. He has not met cats, but doesn't have the personality to bother them. He has not lived with children due to being in the Prison Program but with his great personality, seems to have alot of potential as a family dog. He is a medium/large, and will enjoy an active life. Rambo's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
