Story
Meet Dietz a 2 year old Aussie/Doole boy. Dietz spent his early life in a hoarding situation with 140 other dogs. As a result, he’s still adjusting to a world that’s new and overwhelming to him. He’s learning to trust and is beginning to feel safe in more stable environments. Dietz is a shy and timid soul, especially around new people, unfamiliar places, and loud noises. He takes his time to warm up, but once he feels secure, he shows his true, gentle nature. He’s a work-in-progress, but with patience and understanding, he’s slowly opening up to the world. Treats are a great motivator, and he’s just starting to enjoy playing with toys. While he’s still wary of some things, he’s beginning to trust more. New surroundings, strangers, and loud noises, can be very overwhelming for him, so a quiet, calm environment is ideal for Dietz. Dietz requires a patient, understanding home that can provide structure and gentle encouragement. A fenced yard is essential for him to safely explore and play at his own pace. Dietz would thrive in a calm, quiet household with someone who is willing to work with him and help him build his confidence. His ideal family will understand that progress takes time and will support him every step of the way. Dietz is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Dietz’s adoption fee is $350.00. Story
Lincoln was acquired from a reputable aussiedoodle breeder called Grace Acres Puppies in 2020. He loves to play frisbee, go for long runs, and meet new people. He has been coming with me to my work at Purina Headquarters most everyday and is a fan favorite in the office. He loves going to daycare and to dog parks and is so very ready for a new and loving home. The ideal home for him is one without other dogs. He has lived with other dogs his whole life and gets along really well with them but once i moved into a house with my partners 3 dogs, one of their dogs is not accepting of lincoln in the house and we’ve had some territorial issues inside. Lincoln has never had issues living with any dogs or people but would fit perfect in a house without other dogs for his own mindset.

Mackay is a happy little guy who was lucky enough to land in rescue during this unprecedented time of the puppy explosion. Thousands of puppies just like Mackay have been left without families, the supply has far exceeded the demand. Thank goodness for families who are willing to foster & families willing to adopt! We like to remind applicants that a new puppy is a lot like a toddler. Mackay will need to be supervised, and the best way to do that is to have a dedicated space set up for him, like his foster mom mentioned. This area will be a part of the home where he can see activity & observe, but it is a place that is puppy proofed. Where he can play, lounge, or nap when his family is not directly engaging. Playpens, x-pens, or a dedicated area of the home that has been puppy-proofed are excellent tools to make this possible. X-pens are easily mobile if you want to move them around, too. If you have a fence you will need to make sure any gap is fixed/secured. If you do not have a physical fence, an x-pen will be fine to allow him to do his business outside. You need to check your fence very well for any gaps or areas that need repaired so a curious puppy cannot escape. No puppy should ever be left in a yard without supervision, NEVER EVER. Mackay is working on potty training. It is a process that will require commitment & patience, as puppies have a little puppy bladder. Remember, in a new home, a new environment means that new habits will have to be established. If you have interior stairs, please have a plan to keep your puppy off the stairs unsupervised. Additionally, please be aware of the stair railing & the distance between the spindles. Bringing home a new puppy is a huge responsibility. It requires lots of patience & time! But it is very rewarding if everyone is invested. Please apply if you meet the requirements & would like to adopt an adorable puppy. Please don’t apply without speaking to your spouse/partner first.
