Story
Phoenix is a one year old female Australian Cattle Dog mix, who has a beautiful fox-like look to her. Her eyes are another stunning feature, with one brown eye and one vivid blue eye that will charm you! Phoenix is super sweet and enjoys being with people. She was the more outgoing one when she lived with two other dogs, but now that they have been recently adopted, she has become a little shy when first meeting someone. But Phoenix quickly warms up to new people, especially if pets and yummy treats are involved! She is very cute and entertaining when playing with toys, and her expressive ears will indicate what she finds to be the most interesting! And in many cases, it will be YOU that she finds interesting! Be sure to meet this wonderful girl soon, and give Phoenix the loving home that she deserves! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Coco is a super sweet, smart, friendly, loving, and wonderful 2 year old girl. She loves to run, and she loves to cuddle, and she gets extremely excited to meet new people. She does occasionally limp, as her back right leg was broken when the shelter found her, but it has not seemed to slow her down, and we have been giving her Cosequin just in case. Unfortunately, we had been told when we adopted her, that she would get along with our cats, and while she does not act aggressive towards them, even with a year of training, we cannot fight her instinct to chase and herd them, and they do not appreciate it. Continuing to keep them separated feels unfair to them, as neither ends up getting the amount of attention they deserve.

Story
A dapper fella with a charming half-tail, Tucker is a chill guy with a live-and-let-live attitude. He bonds tightly to his person once they've shown themselves worthy. A safe and quiet life is at the top of this boy's want list. Then he can really open up and show his fun side, which includes an adorable play bow! He likes playing with female dogs but is a grump with other males.  Tucker has had a DNA test, so his breeds are not a guess! ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2011 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
Andre has never met a stranger, and he met many people after being abandoned at an apartment complex. Everyone loved him, but nobody could keep him - so we are helping him continue his search for a true family. Andre's best home is pretty much any home, as he loves all people and knows his basic commands already! He is fun loving but also loves lap time and some good cuddles in front of the tv. He enjoys other dogs and can match well with a dog companion who understands his vocal play style. ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~ Est DOB: Nov 2021~ Intake weight: 48# ~ Adoption details/application: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm
