Presenting~Redford! He's a super sweet and super clean doggy. Redford likes to be petted and taking walks with his volunteers. He can become hyper-focused on things he is distracted by-he wants to run 'to them', so he will need a secure yard for his outside time. Story
“It’s Going To Be A Fantastic Day” -Poppy Poppy is a 3 year old Heeler mix weighing in at 29lbs. This sweet little lady lives up to her name, she is just as pretty as a flower. Poppy is a foodie, in fact she believes she can fly if she smells something yummy! Training is a breeze when they love food 😉 Poppy is quite happy slumming it on the couch or sunbathing in the yard, after all flowers need sun to grow. Poppy has mastered her doggie manners, she is crate, leash, potty and dog door trained. She doesn’t love the crate but once convinced into it she doesn’t make a peep. Poppy prefers the company of dogs her size or smaller, however she is not much for playing or being hype but is not against hogging the couch together. A securely fenced in yard is ideal in Poppy’s new home. Cute as can be and looking for the perfect home to shine in, Poppy is ready to hog a new couch and beg for food in her forever home. Will you help this Poppy bloom? All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption. To start the adoption process please fill out (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog) and please read our requirements located in the application.

Story
All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter.  We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application.  If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.helpingshepherdsofeverycolor.com/adoption-application  You may also find us on facebook:  Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue. 6/24/22 Ducky is a very sweet boy.  He likes dogs, cats, chickens, kids, and yes, even ducks.  He is brand new to rescue but we do know that he is a sweet dog.  He is initially timid around men.   2/21/24  Ducky is still in the rescue.  He is a smart dog and very sweet. Just because a dog looks like a German Shepherd mix doesn't mean it is.  We found out that Ducky is actually mostly heeler.  That's OK he needed a place to land, and we had room.
