Story
Hi friends, to my dismay our HOA has recently come to enforce stricter rules when it comes to dog ownership, &my community no longer has access to enough open field park space for this vivacious cattle dog to get the exercise, activity, & play she needs to stay happy and healthy. I saved Reba from a shelter as 8-wk old puppy (bday Oct 2023) from an abandoned litter of various cattle dog/GSP mix puppies. Reba was the only pup with a lemon (white/yellow) flavor with beautiful unique tan/red speckles, the Red Heeler signature spotted liver. all shots up to date, neutered. invested many hours training both in basic commands & athletic skills. This dog needs freedom, plenty of space, and ideally a job to do! She will be a handful if needing to be cooped up inside all day long. I let her free run x3 day.Reba would thrive and blossom her herding dog talents on a farm. She is READY TO WORK! I can only show you how talented she is, she nips and herds my 60 lb rottweiler mix like a pro.

Story
Hi there! I’m Poppy, and I’ve overheard people say I’m pretty perfect! I can be a little nervous at first, especially in the shelter, but once we’re outside, I really come alive. I thrive in new surroundings and love being around people—I’m a total Velcro dog! I enjoy being close to my humans and will happily cuddle up for some quality time.I’m also friendly with other dogs, so I’d be happy to make some furry friends along the way. My energy level is on the lower side, so I’m more of a relaxed companion who enjoys a good chill session. I’d be a great first dog for someone, especially if you`re looking for a loving and easy-going buddy.Treats? Yes, please! I absolutely love them, and I know how to show off with a couple of tricks like “sit” and “down.” I might even be housebroken already, but I’m definitely ready to learn more with your guidance. I can’t wait to find my forever home and share all my love with you! I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I`m the perfect fit for your family!

Story
Meet Kacy – The Life of the Party Looking for Her Forever Home! Hi, I’m Kacy —a 3-year-old cattle dog/husky mix with an outgoing personality and enough spunk to keep you smiling all day long. I’m the kind of girl who knows how to turn every moment into an adventure and every frown into a laugh!  What Makes Me Special: I’m funny, quirky, and full of energy—you’ll never be bored with me around! I’ve got a playful streak a mile wide and love to entertain my humans with my silly antics. Despite my goofy side, I’m also incredibly sweet and loyal—I love being part of the family. Whether it’s going for a hike, zooming around the yard, or snuggling up after a fun day, I’m all in. My Ideal Home: I’d thrive in a home that matches my love and zest for life! If you are ready for a best friend, I’m your girl. I wouldn’t mind being the star of the show as your only pet, but I could also do well with a playful, well-matched dog sibling. How You Can Help Kacy: Adopt Me! I’m ready to bring joy, love, and lots of laughs into your life. Share My Story. Help me find my perfect family by spreading the word—who wouldn’t want a fun-loving goofball like me? I’m here, waiting to make your life more colorful and exciting. Let’s make it official—email my rescue today to meet me! Kacy is outgoing and has the best personality. She loves everyone she meets and is a very happy go lucky girl. She’s smart and listens very well. She will sit, shake and lay down on command. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and housebroken! She doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! Kacy is wonderful as an inside dog, does great in the house and is also non-chewer. Ready to add a fun, loving and spunky girl, who loves walks, car rides and especially belly rubs to your life?&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 ***Kacy needs a fenced yard, preferably with a 6 ft wood fence which she currently has in her foster home. When you meet this girl you will fall in love, we promise!! For more info on Kacy, email caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com.March 2, 2025, 9:21 pm

This sweet happy little guy was rescued from the euthanasia list at the local shelter due to being over capacity. Maverick is such a great pup. He is potty trained, walks amazing/ heels on a leash, great with other dogs AND cats, great with children of all ages, loves to play with his Kong and toys and loves to run. This sweet guy would be happiest if he had a dog sibling to play with. He is still just a pup and higher energy and likes to have something to do or toys to play with! He loves to play with other doggies and give them kisses. He is a big snuggle bug and goes in for hugs, snuggles and gives gentle sweet kisses. Is very gentle with food and treats. He would make a great family dog. This sweet guy is ready to find his forever home. Up to date on all shots and neutered. Apply for Maverickl at JSCRrescue.com
