Story
Meet Chico! Chico is a 3 year old blue heeler! Very friendly and affectionate. He is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He gets along with other dogs, however as heelers do - he likes to herd and round up the group. Mostly submissive dogs seem ok with this - other dogs that are not so submissive are not happy being pushed around hahaha! He does good with farm animals with supervision, he listen very well when you need to redirect him. Chico is very smart and loves the person he bonds with. He is very playful and very loyal! He will stay by your side always - a true "shadow dog" as heelers are called. He loves hugs and cuddles! He would be happiest in a large yard to run and play with another dog companion. He does very well as an indoor dog also however he does have a bit of separation anxiety, so someone who is home most of the time would ideal. If you would like to meet Chico, please fill out our online adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/83004164874153 We are located in Stewart, TN https://www.heartinhandcrittersrescue.com/

Story
Looking for a fun and furry companion? Look no further than Sheila, your soon-to-be fearless leader! Sheila is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog/ Border Collie Mix. She is athletic, brave, curious, funny, and loyal, and she's looking for a family that can keep up with her adventures. Sheila's an independent soul, but don't let that fool you - she's also a huge cuddle bug and will happily choose a cozy nap over a long walk any day. Just don't tell her that - she'll be protective of you and your home if she thinks you're in danger! Sheila's a herder at heart, and she's got a big heart to match - she'll be your affectionate protector, but she doesn't know yet if she's good with other dogs, so any potential siblings will need to be introduced slowly. If you're ready for a furry friend that will stick by your side through thick and thin, Sheila's the one for you! Sheila must have a firm leader who is consistent with boundaries and has a big job for her or lots of space for her to run. Sheila is currently being fostered. If you would like to meet her, please fill out our online adooption application; https://form.jotform.com/83004164874153
