Story
Meet Rosa, a 3-month-old Heeler mix with a heart as big as her puppy eyes and a personality as sweet as can be! Rosa was surrendered by her owner due to health issues, but don’t worry—she’s ready to start fresh and find her forever home. This little diva has been living the good indoor life since day one and is almost house trained, so she’s well on her way to being the perfect housemate.Rosa has so much puppy energy and loves to be the center of attention. She’s definitely not shy about letting you know she wants to be close to you—really close. Whether it’s curling up at your feet or sitting in your lap, Rosa just wants to be near you at all times. She`s a true snuggle queen and adores affection—she can’t get enough of the love and attention you’ll shower her with. But don`t let that sweet face fool you, Rosa is smart too! She already knows how to sit and even sometimes shakes! She`s ready to learn all sorts of tricks, especially if there are treats involved (hint: she’s a big fan).Rosa also has a bit of a prissy side. She loves to look her best, and she’s been known to wear a dress around here with her head held high and her tail wagging proudly. She’s all about style and grace. If you`re looking for a puppy who will be your shadow, fill your days with love, and never leave your side, then Rosa is the one for you. She’s ready to bring all her joy, energy, and snuggles into your home—are you ready to give this little fashionista the love she craves?

Story
Meet TT & Oreo – The Perfect Pair!TT is a 13-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix, and Oreo is a 7-year-old Blue Heeler. These two are inseparable and the definition of best friends—they’ve been together through thick and thin, and now they’re looking for a new family to share their love with. Unfortunately, their previous owner had to surrender them due to eviction, but TT and Oreo are still as sweet as ever. Both of these gentle souls have lived their whole lives as indoor dogs, in a laid-back, mild lifestyle. Together, they only weigh 90 pounds, but they’re more like one big dog—always sticking together and looking out for each other. They both walk wonderfully on a leash and are well-behaved in the house. They’re housebroken, great with kids, and enjoy the company of other dogs. However, they’d prefer a feline-free home, as cats aren’t their thing. TT and Oreo are a perfect pair for someone looking for a mellow, loving duo to bring some calm and joy into their life. These sweet seniors deserve a peaceful home where they can continue their companionship in comfort. If you’re looking for two lovable, low-maintenance friends, TT and Oreo are ready to meet you!

MEET ONE OF THE POETS! So named because they came to us on Valentine's Day. Animal Control had found them all in a crate on the road and reached out for rescues to help. We are so glad they are with us and enjoying room to roam and good food. They are doing great and being well-socialized -- getting the "JoJo's touch" -- so we know they will be happy additions to the families that give them their forever homes. There 4 girls and 2 boys and on the 14th we estimated them to be 5 weeks old. There are 4 girls and 2 boys. We do not have a good breed mix guess, but several of them have speckled areas that look like their could be some Heeler in them. Based on their size now we are guessing they will be medium-sized adult dogs (45-55 lbs) but that may change after we have a couple of weeks to track their growth rate. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on March 7th. We are taking applications now so that we can hopefully find them their homes by the time they are ready to leave their siblings. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
Charlie is a really great pup. House trained, plays well with others and relatively quite. He loves to bond with his human and enjoys playing ball outside. Charlie was pulled from a high kill shelter in Texas and abandoned in boarding for 6 months by his original rescue. He is currently in Kentucky looking for his forever home. If you would be interested in fostering to adopt, this can be arranged as well.
