Story
Robin Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix Age: 7 months +/- Weight: 45 lbs Medical: Up-To Up-To-Date on Vaccinations, microchipped, neutered Cat Friendly: Yes Dog Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Ages 10+ House Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Location: Tennessee Robin is a love bug! He is not leash trained but follows easily with slight encouragement and does not pull hard. We are working on the leash with him. He loves to snuggle up and watch a movie with you and then go outside and watch the world move around him. He is not high energy, but he is a puppy so will have very occasional bursts of energy. He has what may very well be a birth defect in his left hip which doesn’t seem to cause him any pain. He can have surgery which might enable him to use his leg more. This is something that if you decide to adopt him, we would fundraise to help pay for. Otherwise, he seems very healthy! Good with cats, with supervision at this point. Easily redirected if necessary. After all, he is still a puppy and can still be a bit clumsy. He would probably do best in a quieter type home. Very good with other dogs, all people and is kennel trained! He will never be your running buddy, but he would gladly curl up at your feet or on your lap for afternoon tea on the front porch! After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Robin’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.

Story
Latte is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy! He loves to play and just be crazy! He loves all other dogs and just wants to be everyone’s buddy! He probably will be too much for a cat. If you have a dog that has little patience, then this would not be a good buddy. If you enjoy NASCAR, well he will run it for you! He would benefit from some training classes once you bond with him. He does love kids; we recommend children on the older side due to his rambunctiousness. He is a great listener and crates well. He does still need leash training but has a lot of possibilities!

Story
Meet Kylo! This little tri-pod is an energizer bunny, even with only three legs. He would thrive with another dog to play with. He plays with his puppy foster sister non-stop and even wrestles with the big dogs in the house. When it comes to settling down, he’s a snuggle bug and would love a lap to drape across or a back to snuggle against. We’re still working on his potty communication. We’ve had no poops in the house recently, but do get some wet accidents. He is an amazing little guy overall. At night, he settles into his favorite corner of the couch and sleeps through the night. But he’s very good about the crate, when needed, as well. I don’t think Kylo has a mean bone in his body, although he is a vocal little wrestler. If you’re looking for an all-around great little dog (not to mention the best ears in town) Kylo is your guy.
