Story
This is Ziggy, she is a 4 year old female blue heeler. I am looking to find her a new loving home because I am moving out of state and can't give her all the love and attention she needs. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is great with kids and is a great family dog. She loves chasing balls and likes to run. I am sad to rehome Ziggy, but hope to find a loving home for her.

Story
Sloane Sloane is a Female Cattle do DOB: July 1, 2023 Adoption fee: $100.00 Not much is known about me. I did have puppies, but the shelter was told none of them made it. I was no longer wanted, until the nice people here seen me. They told me, you are wanted, and we will help you find a home which is worthy of you. I am still sad but feeling better every day. I have low confidence. I cower to the floor when people approach me. I am working hard to feel worthy of affection. I seem okay with other dogs and will continue to meet more now that I am spayed. I may be better with a low-key dog just someone to hang out with. I have not been introduced to cats yet. I would do best with older calmer children. At this time, I will require a physically fenced in yard. I appear to be house trained.

Name: Viola Breed Guess: Heeler Mix Age: 8 weeks old on 3/7/25 Gender: Female Weight: 35-55 pounds as an adult Children: Puppies Require Proper Socialization Dogs: Meet and Greet Required Cats: Puppies Require Proper Socialization Adoption fee: $525 Hello, we came all the way from Georgia in search of our forever homes. We all have very cute and sweet personalities, and we have lots of cuddles and love to give! We've been at the ARP since 1/28/25 and are currently located at the shelter. The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
