Story
Hi there! I'm Archie! Don't you just love my adorable floofy face? I'm a sweet and silly young cattle dog mix who's looking for his furever home. I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being abandoned and found as a stray. Despite everything that I've been through, I'm a SUPER loving and affectionate boy who can't wait to shower my adopter with cuddles and kisses! I adore every person that I meet and do amazingly well with all other dogs. I'm a total gem of a pup and my adopter will be so lucky to have such a loyal and loving companion. I'm a fun-loving, easy-going, and confident pooch who's very eager to please and SO ready to be your best friend. Could you be the adopter I've been wishing for? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. ABOUT BEAGLE FREEDOM PROJECT: Beagle Freedom Project is the world's leading organization for rescuing and rehoming animals used in experimental research. Story
3-13-25 Godiva is losing her home due to off leash dog to dog interactions. It has progressed to the point where she now has a vet appointment. I don't feel she needs to be put down. She is the friendliest girl ever to people. She even loves the vet! She needs an only dog home, with a supervised fenced yard, and ability to exercise her away from other dogs. Please submit an application at www.cowdogrescue.com  8-30-23 Godiva, a female Red Heeler comes into rescue from an overcrowded shelter. Please note: The adoption application can be found at cowdogrescue.com Godiva is a good, friendly dog. She is great with people. Her paperwork says she is around 4 to 6 years old.  She is bossy of other dogs, and she did fight over possession of a chew bone with a her kennel mate, a male red heeler.  She does like being the center of attention.  ##1815601##

Story
Foster location: Eagle, Michigan Meet Axel! Axel is a super handsome 1.5 year old Cattle Dog mix that is looking for his forever home. He is a very social boy who loves playing with his foster siblings and running with them in the yard, going for walks and meeting new people and then cuddling up on the couch at night with his foster mom. Axel has been attending doggy daycare and loves it! Axel is house and crate trained and walks good on a leash. He is great about chewing on his toys and bones and not getting into things he shouldn’t. Axel would enjoy an active home with another young dog to play with, he has really bonded with his foster siblings and enjoys running and playing with them. Kids make Axel nervous so he is looking for a home without children. Axel is a very sweet and smart boy and catches onto new things quickly, he is young and ready to learn! In order to set him up for success we would recommend his family enroll him in a positive reinforcement training class upon adoption. Axel’s adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, dewormed, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Please follow the instructions to apply for Axel found in the auto-reply you will receive or email adoptapupanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application. Adopt A Pup is 100% foster-based which means we do not have a centralized facility where you can visit our dogs. The first step towards meeting the dog(s) you are interested is to complete an application. One of our volunteers will contact your references and set up a time between you and the foster to meet and interact with the dog(s) of interest.

Story
Did you know that the ivy plant is a symbol of everlasting life, devotion, fidelity and loyalty? An inspiring name for a charismatic pooch such as myself! Being the young lady that I am, an active family would be a match made in heaven! Play time is quite possibly my favorite time of day (sometimes I get a bit carried away with my plushy toys). I like to live life enthusiastically, having a positive direction for my gusto would be the ultimate delight for me! Although physical activity is an absolute riot, having a cool down period with some mental games is a good time too. At the end of the day, I just want to be involved with my people. I am not one to turn down a snuggle session by any means. What can I say, I am a sweetheart after all. I hope to find a family that wants to understand and accepts me for the glorious rescue dog that I am. For instance, I like some other dogs, but not every dog. Smaller dogs (and cats for that matter) remind me of chicken nuggets, I can't help but feel some prey drive there. But some other dogs my own size are fun to hang out and play with. I suppose that its pretty normal to not get along with everyone you meet in life though. Whether or not you are a botanical enthusiast, if you are looking for a forever companion submit your adoption application for the perfect furry addition! DOB: 5/25/2021 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/
