Story
adopted four years ago from a shelter, no history, was skinny and unsocialized. He has done well learning to live in a house with people. Loves to be outside, enjoys playing with tennis balls/toys. He is an inside dog now and loves sleeping the couch. Will tolerate short periods of time in his kennel but does not like to be kenneled for very long. Eats his meals in his kennel and uses a puzzle toy. He is protective of his food. Chases cats and should not live in a home with cats. Has a strong prey drive and will chase anything small that runs, including dogs and children. He would do best in a home without other animals or small children. He loves treats, long walks, and belly rubs. He walks best on using a head halter. Paddy is a sweet boy that needs an experienced owner and a fenced yard for running.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey, I'm Itama. I'm pretty new around here, but have so far proven myself to be a loving and laidback gal who gets along with everyone. My foster says I'm the sweetest and easiest foster she's had. I fit right in with the dogs, cat, and kiddos. I love everyone. However, I may jump up on people when excited. So I should be managed when around littles to make sure I don’t topple them over. I do like having a canine companion. I am on the timid side, so having a friend to follow helps me know where to go with more confidence. The animal control officers who found me called me a 'puddle puppy' due to my propensity to sploot in new situations. Living with other dogs is ensuring I come out of my shell and play more. Snuggling and getting pets is my main goal. I follow my foster from room to room just to make sure I don't miss out on an opportunity. In terms of obedience, I have not had a single accident since I arrived, am familiar with the cues sit, down, and wait, and I come when I hear a whistle. With more work and consistency, my foster knows I can learn soooo much more. Especially if treats are on offer. If you think I'd be a good fit for your family, please apply so we can meet. Itama is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Gemma – The Perfect Mix of Spunky & Sweet! Hi there! I’m Gemma, a middle-aged, goofy pup with just the right balance of energy and relaxation. Not to brag, but I’m pretty much the total package for anyone looking to add a loving new member to their family! Life in a warm home is my absolute favorite—snuggling with my people, playing with friends, lounging on comfy couches, and, of course, enjoying delicious treats. I’m fully potty-trained and crate-trained with no issues, and I always let my people know when I need to go outside. One special thing about me? I’m deaf! But don’t worry—I’m super attentive to my people and watch them closely to understand what’s going on. In fact, here’s a video of me learning obedience hand signals.  And another video of me showing off my obedience skills!  My favorite toy is a tennis ball, and I love chasing it, bringing it back, and sometimes playing a fun game of keep-away!  Here’s a video of me playing fetch and another video … I love playing!  And here’s a video of me with a squeaky tennis ball! I’m incredibly sweet and love everyone I meet. Cuddling is one of my favorite pastimes, and I’ll happily snuggle up with anyone who lets me get as close as possible. Right now, I live with a family that has young adult children and two senior dogs. While they aren’t always up for playing, I don’t mind—I keep myself entertained, play with my people, or just relax and watch the world go by. We do enjoy our walks together and live peacefully as a pack. When I meet dogs in public, I can get a little overstimulated (pulling, barking, whining), so I do best with slow introductions to new animals. My foster family was told that I’ve also lived with cats and kids in the past, and I was a very good girl with everyone. Now, I’m searching for my forever family—could that be you? Story
Location: Spirit Lake, IA Hi, my name is Laurel but my foster mom calls me Lolo- a pint sized ball of energy. I love to run around my yard with my fur friends and splash in the pool! I like dogs that are my size or bigger and it does take me a few days to warm up to them. I do well in my kennel or left out in a room for a few hours. I love my toys but I do tend to want them for myself so I'm learning to share. I sleep in my fosters room at night and do a great job all night. I am such a sweetheart and I love my humans! I'm still learning some manners but I've been doing great so far. I would love to join your family and find my furever home! ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi, I'm Biscotti (or Scotti as my foster mom calls me)! I've been told I'm a lover and just the best girl. I'm potty trained AND do phenomenal in the kennel, as long as I get a snacky snack to go in there. I would do best with another friend and/or an active person or family as I LOVE to play. I do play a little rough some times, so would need a friend that is good with that. If there is a dog-savvy cat in the house, I have been gentle with them, but definitely want to play. However, I am not a fan of outside cats that like to run away. I'm working on basic commands currently and do well on a leash when I am wearing a no-pull harness! I can be reactive and loud when other dogs are around, but I just need slow introductions to new animals and consistent training. I'm a small girl, but know I can fill a big part of your heart! Apply for me today! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
