Story
Ms. Ethel came into our lives when she was five months old and she turned 1 year old on October 13, 2024. We believe she is a red heeler and lab mix. She is crate-trained and LOVES to snuggle close to you. She is high-energy and loves being outside. Her favorite games are tug-of-war and keep-away. She does well with other dogs if they are introduced to her gently. She loves to look out the window to spy on the neighbors. Unfortunately, we just do not have the space to keep her and have her run around to her heart's content, especially since we have a baby on the way. This girlie would love to snuggle up to you and watch a movie with you at the end of the day.

Story
Chucky here and it is my time to break outta the shelter!I am a sweet young boy who loves everyone I meet, I have a very outgoing loving personality.I have medium energy, I love to go for walks but I calm down after and would sooo much enjoy cuddling on the couch with you.I am still pretty much a puppy so I might need some training with things, but I seem to be a quick learner!I do seem to enjoy playing with other dogs and would probably enjoy a friend, but would still need to meet any other dogs in the home first. :)

Story
Meet Que! I am smart as a whip and quick like one too. I would love to have a home where I get to work or have regular training to work my brain. Cattle dogs are known for their high intelligence and working ability and I love to show mine off. Huskies are known for their high energy and love for exercise. I am a great combo of both breeds. I am still just a pup so it`s a great time to start my training. Are you ready for all the fun I could bring to a family? I am micro chipped.

Story
Jack Blue Heeler mix Neutered Male 5 years old, 50 pounds Sometimes, when we transfer dogs from crowded shelters, we roll the dice, but Jack has been a dream to foster. Jack’s foster mom tells us that he is very sweet, loving and friendly. He loves to ride in the car and Jack puts the joy in walking when they go twice per day. Recently his fosters brought in a Yorkshire terrier and they had so much fun together… no problems whatsoever adapting to one another. Also, they decided to try taking Jack to the dog park and reported that he enjoyed running with the other dogs there. Jack is roughly five years old and 50 pounds. He’s neutered, current on his vaccines and microchipped. The shelter listed him as a blue heeler mix, so his breed would be happiest in a home with activity. He is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. Jack also knows sit, shake and come, as just a few of his commands. So, it’s safe to say, Jack is ready if you are! Since he’s been such a love and we fell short on our goal to have him posted before Valentine’s Day, we’re offering a $50 discount on his adoption fee (normally $300.00)  for any applications received before the end of February. Please apply online at www.NebraskaNoKill.org.  February 22, 2025, 9:27 am
